Ever since I showed her the live action Rurouni Kenshin movie, she really got into media from Japan. At first it was mostly live action stuff, but she's watching anime too now. She's even learning Japanese now too.

Well, if she enjoys it, yay. There's actually several nerd franchises I got interested because of my mom, like Star Trek and Quantum Leap. And I accidentally got her hooked on Dr. Who.

@Briarroze Yeah my mom got me into Glee, although I guess that's not really a nerd franchise. I also got her hooked on several other things, like Supernatural. @Halo5307 I think she's just trying it out. She's on episode 2 right now I think. But we've watched other stuff together in the past too. Like um... Death Note (live action movies and some episodes) Rurouni Kenshin (live action movies and some episodes) Clannad Full Metal Alchemist Hikaru No Go (some of it) Ranma 1/2 (season 1) Princess Jellyfish Noein Detective Conan (movies, real life drama, and some episodes) And maybe a few more. @NumberFF0000 See above lol.

Your mom seems pretty cool if she's getting into anime. Bleach was an amazing anime, although it ended 4 years ago in Japan, the manga is still going on though
