There's nothing inherently wrong with being a "MGTOW", just go off and be abstinent, I guess. I do think the idea behind the ideology leans a bit on paranoia, but I guess I can accept it.
The problem is, a ton of MGTOWs tend to be the kind of people who don't even see women as people with any sort of agency.

Can you really blame them for that, though?
Without sounding like I'm trying to play the victim, in recent years (and even further back, to a degree), men have been mistreated in the West. I'm not going to whine and complain about it, because it's human nature to mistreat people (as unfortunate as it is), but it's the truth.
-Almost immediately disadvantaged in child custody cases.
-(USUALLY) guilty until proven innocent in grape or other sxual assault cases.
-More prone to taking their own lives.
-Disadvantaged in domestic violence cases most of the time.
-More prone to physical violence.
-In recent years, seen as the root of all evil (especially white males).
And that's just to name a few. A lot of those (with the exception of physical violence, and MAYBE the third one) do relate back to women in a lot of cases. Am I saying women are oppressive? Of course not. It's not really their fault that men have certain disadvantages, and I'm not going to pretend that it is. But it's reason enough for some people to become MGTOWs.
Again, I can't stress this enough, I'm not a MGTOW, nor am I an MRA, I just recognize that men do have certain disadvantages too. I'm not saying men are systematically oppressed in the Western world (though it can seem that way), but they are mistreated, especially in the judicial system. A female charged with grape or sxual assault against a male would usually not get the same sentence as a male in the same situation would.

I'm not denying that men's issues are a thing, because of course they are. And if someone wants to go ahead and go MGTOW, fine by me. Though I don't really see a growing culture of hatred towards white males, those kinds of people still seem to be a fringe group. That may change in the near future, but that's the way it seems to be for now.
When I bash MRAs, MGTOWs, and similar, I'm referring to people on the Manosphere specifically. You know, sites like r/TheRedPill and Return of Kings. Of course, not all MRAs are like that, saying that all MRAs are Manosphere types is like saying that all Feminists are Tumblr types.

I'd post a bunch of links to articles, but offsite links and such. I can assure you it's a growing thing, though. I'd get it if you didn't take my word for it, though. I'm not necessarily white (mostly Native), and I don't really LOOK white, but I'm often mistaken to be white, so it is something I'll have to deal with at some point.

Men's Rights Activist. They're people who advocate for men's issues to be addressed. Main focuses include false assault allegations, bias in the criminal and family courts, and similar things.
They have a bad rep for being a bunch of misogynists, but I assure you, there's nothing inherently misogynistic about the ideology.

I should probably clarify, the stuff I agree with isn't EXCLUSIVELY on those sites, but it is mentioned (e.g., the aforementioned male disadvantages).
