I love organizing and whatnot so yeah.
I'll put every clan in a randomizer and it'll spew out who faces who and we go from there. This tournament can include any type of clan, so sword clans may be fighting gun clans, and a colonial clan may be fighting VAK.
I just have some questions about how it should go.
1. Should it be the entire group raiding each other's bases and reach a certain score, or each group's elites*?
2. Should it be weekends only from 9 am EST to 9 pm EST?
*If elites are chosen, 5 rounds of RCL will be held if both groups use guns. If one group uses swords and the other uses guns, 2 rounds of RCL and 3 rounds of swords will be held. |

Also to enter the leader just PMs the full name of their group and if they use swords, guns, etc. |

you know i like the idea (even tho i wouldn't participate) but it just seems too complicated especially if we're mixing different genres of clans into the mix (like you said, it might be hard for a colonial clan or 1960s us military group to fight OO or VAK)

Also, it'll only include the groups whose leader has PMed me, so if no leaders of colonial groups PM me, then there won't be any. |

a tourney could be interesting but not if colonials are getting paired against vak
keep them paired up against their respective theme (muskets, guns, swords etc)

i also like the idea/option of having an entire clan raiding another entire clan in the so-called tourney because it would maybe make some clans more fun but if this goes thru and a bunch of clans are gonna participate it would most likely be elites only since it's be too big

So maybe a clan tournament with subdivisions that host a certain genre?
All gun groups fight for a champion, all sword groups fight for a champion, etc.? |

yea bc an rcl clan will do better against a musket clan
unfair advantage

the idea sounds fun but i gotta agree with the other guy it wouldn't really b a good idea to randomize every match-up because of colonials or other clans being paired with (i guess) sci-fi laser/rcl clans
it would be good to organize the match ups yourself

There would be certain times, btw.
So say this Saturday and Sunday, OO and RAT would fight. Whoever wins moves on.
Then next Saturday and Sunday another two will fight. |

We tried that with the sword clans in January.
Didn't even last a week before all hell broke loose.

this, even though i said i thought crossing clans was a bad idea i think this could still be a good thing to try.
if any colonial or gun-but-not-rcl clans were to join this and got paired, maybe it could be organized like final battles in clan wars and both sides could use the same type of gun. maybe inform the colonial clan some time prior about the weapon they'll be using so they can train?
i just thought that might be a good idea since all sword clans (old animations) use the same sword, maybe just with another skin/color.

I felt as though it would be easier if it was just final battles.
If both clans use guns, 5 rounds of RCL.
If one clan uses guns, and the other swords, 3 rounds of swords and 2 rounds of RCL.
If both clans use swords, 5 rounds of swords.
I find that simple and easier to manage than entire raids. Adding on, it reduces time constraints because you can do many battles in one day. |

i like that idea ^ but (if any want to participate) warn other 'gun' clans that aren't experienced in rcl (like colonial groups) so they can train at bricktops or something prior to the final battle

coming from someone well versed in the colonial era and has 4 years of experience in it
colonial would get wrecked if they tried to use RCL weaponry
I lead a group of around 30 relatively mature colonial soldiers and they didn't even know that they needed to get to the terminal.
however I plan on training my members with basic modern/sci-fi weapons as well as the standard colonial training |
