Hello, I am D_vloper, candidate for Norfolk city council. Thanks for Norfolk voters for considering me. I first joined Norfolk a month, or 2 after it was opened. I was removed for 2 months for a reason that was not even valid. I have been involved in the departments, organisations below: NCDED: Business manager NCDGC: Defence Attorney Many of these may not effect your decisions, but that is my main departments and many other ranks in Rockport. Such as Senator, Cabinet, Department Director, Mayor, council for Rockport under mayor of Remmington, Rockport Deputy committee head. From some of these positions I learned skills in the following areas: collaboration, policy development, being a good listener, and I learned an eclectic approach to problem solving. I will stand up for my convictions on the city council and for the concerns of the citizens of Norfolk. Why am I running for council when I can just be sitting back and laughing at their mistakes? I care for Norfolk. I really want it to become like it used to be. I am not saying its bad, but there are major problems. I'm running on a platform of fiscal responsibility, preservation, conservation, and integrity. I want Norfolk to be the safest streets on ROBLOX. I want our development, redevelopment, and revitalization challenges to be carefully managed and compatible with sustainable building practices, and the wishes of the community. We can resolve the current challenges of our city while still maintanining a strong fire and police department, filling needed vacanies. As for consultants for city projects: we have a lot of local talent and good minds. Only when very specialized expertise is not available should we hire outside consultants. Right here in or own back yard, we have our talented city staff, and local businesses such as NFC, NA, etc. I believe we should start up, our development program again as well We can also utilize local talent through our commissions, with volunteers who have the expertise to help the city through providing another voice. This is a true democracy at work. It takes someone with the vision to lead Norfolk to sound management and prosperity. I can fulfill those needs. My contributions are from the citizens and I will represent your interests. I will listen and be accountable to you! I will listen to your concerns and the concerns of the community through conversation, town hall meetings, neighborhood meetings--whatever it takes. You will be heard. I am D_vloper. Support. This is exactly what I want in a city council representative. He will listen to us, start the development program again, and actually do something about the departments.
