This is a forum of guidelines for the HHCL Season 11 Buffalo Sabres (team subject to change). You are REQUIRED to accept these rules. Failure to do so will result in less ToI, full game suspensions, and if necessary trading/cut. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Table of Contents: ------------------ I. Practice II. Games III. Off-Ice behavior IV. Suspensions V. Issues ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- I. Practice: All practice will be held 1 hour before game time unless set otherwise by an Captain. Practices are MANDATORY. Misses will NOT be excused unless given a VALID excuse PRIOR to the set practice. Valid excuses MUST be given 30 minutes in advance to practice or more. Any excuses under 30 minutes will be treated as a missed practice. Each player is allowed 3 missed practice before punishment. Although 3 are allowed, it is frowned upon to miss ANY practice. Practices will be ran by Captains and ONLY captains. Suggestions or instructions given by a player during practice will result in being pkicked/fanned. If you would like to suggest drills/other things for practice, please PM a captain outside of practice times. Lastly, practice is to be taken serious. Do not trash talk ANY teammates. As we gain chemistry we will talk playfully towards one another, but the first few weeks I would like the playfulness kept to a minimum between new players. Failure to keep your mouth shut will result in an immediate game suspension or worse depending on severity of the content. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- II. Games During games, players are not allowed to be disrespectful to the other team, unless the other team instigates (meaning they started it). If you are responsible for starting a fight (verbally) you will be immediately benched and kept benched until all captains agree that player has served their time. Captains are only ones allowed to do lines unless a captain has given permission (cleared through me) to allow another player make lines. If you have any suggestions please PM a captain outside of game time. Penning during games will not result in punishment UNLESS the player is a repeated penner, OR the pen is completely uncalled for and could have been avoided. When we score a goal, do NOT spam "GOAL" in global chat. All verbal celebrations MUST be in Team Chat because spamming other team is disrespectful and uncalled for. If you need to leave during a game, please alert a captain BEFORE leaving. DO NOT, I REPEAT DO NOT leave WHILE on the Ice, wait for a face off. If you are lagging and fear disconnecting, alert a captain and you will immediately be taken off the ice. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- III. Off-Ice behavior: This is common sense, do not tick off other players (from our team AND opponents teams). Doing so will result in being benched/suspended. Lastly just don't do anything really stupid. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- IV. Suspensions: Disrespect- 1/2 game to 1 game depending on severity Missing multiple practices (more than 3)- 1st offense= One game suspension/ Further offenses= 2 (or more) games suspension If you believe you were falsely suspended PM Me and ONLY me, and I will decide if it will be overruled or not. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- V. Issues/Help/Questions: ALL questions/concerns must be sent to a captain and only a captain. These include problems with other players, suggestions for lines/practices, and appealing suspensions (suspensions must be sent to MasterzPudds ONLY). ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- All players/tryouts MUST reply to this forum in agreement. Failure to do so will lower your TOI and raise your chances of being benched for a game. As well as those punishments, it will really set you off on the wrong foot for being on HHCL Buffalo. Good rules except for the fact that an hour before the game is going to be hard to do and a 30 minute heads up? Man I'm still in school at that point.
