Inter Milan owner, Erik Thohir has signed Mancini's 23 year old son Andrea to D.C. United, coincidentally also owned by Erik Thohir. This is Mancini's 7th club and he has yet to score a single goal in his career as a striker.

Mancini also has an older brother Filippo who also had a stalled career. Filippo retired at 25 after scoring 0 goals just like his brother. Filippo played for 3 clubs, 2 coached by his father and was released immediately after his father was fired from both.
