Guests are people to. They aren't computer robots trying to "figure a simple game out".
Guests are meaningful on ROBLOX because they are trying the game out (whether sponsored, advertised, or shared by one of his/her friends). They are actual and real people who try out ROBLOX to see whether they like ROBLOX or not before they make an account. Best of all, it's no doubt true that ROBLOX still has a passion for giving 3D-Modeling tools to kids, like David B. originally created the game for.
But some guests, are actually real players pretending to be guests, and has been going on for a long time.
So what's the solution, and what's the history of the Guest?
The Guest System was not introduced fully until September 26, 2008, but the system was long-developing since July 8th, 2008. It took much programming to release the Guest System; they used ROBLOX's Account with a database for the Guest. A guest at this time looked like your average noob.
The first user to be the API for the Guest System being (not ROBLOX), is an account named DefaultGuest in March 2011.
Here's the real suggestion -- when you create an account you shouldn't be allowed to make a Guest Account. This would reduce trolling in a way, adding the feature of "Who needs a guest account when you already have one?" because playing as a guest when you ALREADY have an account is completely ridiculous. |
