Not entirely. They didn't patch resolving. However they did patch being able to see people's IP's in skype calls by changing the services used when connecting C2S(Client to Server)

Wireshark still exists, that's how a lot of people do it now. Also, IP Grabber links, but you gotta do a crap ton of social engineering if the guy hates you that much to click on the link.

@INFOSEC I'm pretty sure they did, that was the point of the patch. The Skype usernames that you can resolve are ones that are most likely already on the resolver's database.
