I decided it will be nice if everyone would create their own hats, gear, and faces. Like everything else developed on ROBLOX it should on be for Builders Club members. It'll really help the catalog expand with variety and comfort us through the loss of Tix.

1. "People will copy hats, gear, or faces that are 9999 R$ and sell them for 1 Tix"
I am fully aware of this. I would suggest we have the moderators watch the catalog and check up on popular items in the catalog and see if there are any copies. Even if they decided not to moderate the catalog for copies, most of us are used to people copying things from the catalog. Shirts and pants are already copied and uploaded again constantly. Only a few complain about this, so why complain about copying gears, faces, and hats.
2. "People will publish unprofessional items in the catalog"
Which is why only BC should be enabled to upload things. This should be moderated as well, maybe ROBLOX should set a certain date for each month and on this day the staff of ROBLOX polish the catalog up, like deleting copies or anything that was obviously posted without serious intentions for the item. Like I said above as well, if they decide not to moderate the items, once again we are already used to people constantly posting random clothes with no purpose that just sit there in the catalog and junk it up.
3. "People can do the same thing by asking the admins to publish them"
True, but only a very small amount of those hats are published versus millions of re-textures or hats that are existing today. Also, the hat will not be owned by the person who made it, but instead the common user "ROBLOX" meaning the original creator gets no credit or profit.
4. "People can script in the items they make that will make them have infinite health or stuff like that"
That is true because of clockwork's "Teapot Turret" hat. like I said, only a privileged few can make hats so unfair users can script in the hats. If this isn't possible which would make sense, because a hat would need scripts to use its basic functions such as go on the players head, etc. ROBLOX should add a basic script into ROBLOX that comes everytime you open a new project in Studio. It'll force any items with scripts that don't serve the items basic functions out of the game.
5. "Haven't you heard? ROBLOX is adding this already in the update"
Yes, I have heard! Which is great, but they're only allowing you to make faces and hats I believe. If they're allowing you to make more than just that, then hopefully they take these suggestions.

ROBLOX is adding this for hats, gears, packages, faces, and all other stuff that exist.
It will only be accessible for developers. ( BIG developers, such as Loleris, etc.) |

Exactly. I already stated in the post I know about the update, but BC members should have access to it as well. |

Same reasons BC gets access to make anything else, BC shows your loyal enough to ROBLOX to pay real money towards it. I'm not saying non-bc are non loyal but BC are in most cases more loyal and have a less likely chance to upload pointless things. |

I don't agree.
For example.. "Instead of buying 5 million r$ from roblox. I'll just make a copy of a Dominus Empyreus, and act like I'm rich. And hey I could probably scam people aswell".
For example.. "Lets get 2 spheres and a cylinder with a sphere on the top and colour it slighty pink"
However..
If roblox added a feature where It would cost 100 robux to request the hat to get published, and if a roblox moderator thought it was at an acceptable quality and not similar to any other hats, then the creator of that hat can then pay a further 250 r$ to publish it.
Just allowing people to publish hats, would release to the catalog being spammed, and the mods wouldn't be able to keep up with thousands of hats getting published daily..
Remember it's a hat after all, if it's made well your gonna profit.

It would be cool, but as everyone else is saying, people could make "things" little kids shouldn't see. And people will retexture rare hats like the Teapot Turret, Dominuses, The Dusekkar, etc. There are just too many problems. |
