this has been happening to me for about a week now and i have been unable to play games on roblox since then
it happens to me no matter what game it is, so it isnt just the game. ive restarted my computer before, ive uninstalled roblox and reinstalled it a few times and it still happens.
my connections are fine too. im clearly connected to the internet, so whats the issue?

Roblox crashes like that usually when it finds a program/software that could have some kind of cheats on it. If you play roblox then open cheat engine, you will be disconnected from the game. I could be some program running in the background of your computer. |

i dont have cheat engine and the only two programs running in the background are skype and spotify which don't interfere with roblox

i turned off firewall completely and tried joining a game and it still didnt let me play, so it isnt firewall
i also downloaded mozilla to see if it was my browser, but that didnt work either

try scanning with anti malware bytes and or restarting your router. If one doesn't work do the other. Try other games as well. Sometimes game servers crash and the server is left with a ID-17

ive scanned with malware bytes and 11 things came up that were non-threatening but useless, so i removed them just to be safe. i havent been able to restart my router because my parents probably wont let me, so that could be the issue. ill have to wait until tomorrow when i get home from school and nobody is home to reset it.
also, it happens with every game i join, even on alts and as a guest. is there anything else i can try?

yeah ill have to do that tomorrow then. if theres any more suggestions theyre greatly appreciated.
if not, ill come back tomorrow with the results of the router reset. ill let everyone know if it worked or not to rule it out as the problem.

@light, im not too sure about that. thousands of players are in games right now just on the front page. if it were happening to more people it wouldve been fixed within the week or two its been happening to me.

so ive restarted my router and i still get the same error that is screenshotted in the original post.

ive done this. you cant contact roblox for something like this, only for stuff that has to do with billing or account inquiries
