your GOTY for 2015?

(keeping in mind, i have a BUNCH of 2015 games to even get to man. MGSV, just cause 3, the witcher 3. these are just personal favourites of the games that i own) rainbow six siege: i can't stress how much i've been into this game recently. might look like your average shooter and may as well be, but personally for me the gameplay was just perfect for me. glitches aside, i've got so many hours in this game in no time and i just loved it - i have to think about what i'm doing, when it comes to kills or just even trying to not get killed. still, it always challenges me to this day because i always come across these certain situations and me + my team have to plan it. fun game. even without a plot, would still be a solid 10/10 for me :) hotline miami 2: once went through a BUNCH of the game one day and it's just great. loved the original game but hm2 managed to be even more brutal with even better levels, items and a story. i would have probably completed it by now but after doing so many hours and getting through tricky levels without giving up, i can't help but hate steam for not syncing. i think it was because i had it on the level editor beta at the time. 2015 was a great year for games though and what made me get an xbox one (i have a good PC, it's cool guys). now i will sit and wait until the closed beta of mirrors edge catalyst and pray that it all goes well.

i'm going to get hate for this but Battlefront. It was the only game of 15 that truly got my attention and kept me playing, and as a longtime SW fan it had everything i wanted. also keep in mind i did not buy many games. I'm sure witcher's good (pls spare me night) but i never played it. Bloodborne looks cool too. The only games i bought last year that were from 2015 were Battlefront, Fallout 4 and Undertale (not yet finished). I really want to play: Bloodborne, Witcher, MGS:V, JC3, Mario maker(don't own a wii u), and rocket league. I haven't bought these due to lack of time/and money, and i'm sure that some of those are better than battlefront. But in my opinion, battlefront was astounding. Brilliant, immersive graphics, spectacular audio, and fun, solid, albeit repetitive gameplay. The visuals were accurate to the films and so were the experiences, especially the speeder bikes. The maps were large and exciting and there was a nice amount of maps (if you think there's only, like, 4, play the game ya idieet) gamemodes, customisations, guns and collectibles. Only downsides are repetitive gameplay and no story tbh. I haven't tried the new expansion due to no PS+ rn.

Tiara, I gotta agree with you. Battlefront is pretty sweet. Also, Mario Maker is fun, and lots of people REALLY enjoy it, but I was a bit meh. One part I don't like in it is you don't have everything at first. You have to wait for a 'shipment' to come, like another Mario game type (Super Mario World, Wii U, and Super Mario Bros 2) or a bunch of parts, which gets annoying time to time. Though back to Battlefront, the Outer Rim DLC is pretty fun, but I still prefer the original maps, as you can choose what game setting you want. Not sure if you know this, but DLC packs don't let you choose the game setting (Blast, Cargo, etc.).
