@unclear, sadly it does i need to find the equations of planes given three points, find the closest point (B) on the plane given a point A not on the plane, and reflect the vector between A and B off of B... i dont see a way to accomplish that without calc 3

"@unclear, sadly it does i need to find the equations of planes given three points, find the closest point (B) on the plane given a point A not on the plane, and reflect the vector between A and B off of B... i dont see a way to accomplish that without calc 3" This is just a vector projection problem and has nothing to do with calculus.

"find the closest point (B) on the plane given a point A not on the plane" feel free to correct me if im recalling incorrectly but im pretty sure you need derivatives to find that

No lol you don't need derivatives. Learn vector properties properly.

im british so idek what 'calculus' means to you guys let alone what 'calculus 3' entails. differentiation and integration are simple but like /what else is there/ that i likely know Stay slothy, San Diego
