Hello, I’m Speaker of the House bill52600 and I’m announcing my candidacy for re-election!
Look, let me get right down to the point. I’m running because I’ve proven myself to be one of the most effective (if not *the* most effective) Speakers in Rockport history. Under my leadership in the House, we held 22 different sessions this term. They were held an average of 5 days in between each other, creating a fair balance that lets Representatives come up with legislation, decide their votes for upcoming bills/amendments, and also maintain a healthy non-time consuming life on both ROBLOX and in real life. I am proud of what my chamber and its Representatives have accomplished. We’ve had many legislation, debates, and votes made during this term, I’d like to take the time to congratulate Congress as a whole for those efforts. But we must go further. I led the charge in the House to make sure that the legislation it produced was concise and fulfilled its intended purpose. When someone had a question on a bill they were writing, I’d look it over and suggest important revisions that helped convince its authenticity and integrity. Some of you may remember my promise to establish a social media presence for the House. Well, I can fully verify that I’ve delivered on that (https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCSIW0Kg8FEP0JWZFk7blVMw , https://twitter.com/RockportHoR). By fulfilling this promise, you can not only see debates and votes being made, but also the Representatives involved. Every session, every speech, etc. is up there for you to view. I don’t care if uploading a one-hour YouTube video is drastic or completely slows my house’s internet, because I know that it has increased government accountability and knowledge for our Citizens. Needless to say, the House has done a lot this term and has gotten people in and out of it more interested.
My point is this: I’ve proven myself to be a viable, loyal, and dedicated Speaker. I’ve authored a large portion of our Constitution, Bill of Rights, and our laws themselves. By electing me back to the House, I can continue the fight for prosperity and political order in the State of Rockport. Here are some of my plans for the upcoming term:
- Continue fulfilling promise of social media presence and push through crucial programs like government accountability, education for civics, etc.
- Push for more business integration in cities (businesses owned by Citizens, not large, cliche ROBLOX corporations)
- Encourage civil discussion and larger voter turnout
- Open lines of contact and potentially offices between Citizens and members of Congress
- Work with the Events Committee to create more socially-geared events with the like parades, fairs, parties, etc.
I’m not a candidate running or relying on friends. I’m a candidate running on results that I’ve put up this term. I’m ready to not only continue producing those results but also improve and build upon them for the benefit of Rockport as a whole. It is because of these reasons that I firmly and confidently ask for your vote this election.

While I appreciate you taking the time to comment, Bay, I must remind you that I've only been impeached once way back in January of 2015. You on the other hand were impeached just last term from the House itself for inactivity.
Let's focus on the real issues and our accomplishments rather than resorting to petty attacks.

I like stuff such as business integration improvement. What I question is if you are wanting to preserve the people's rights and protect them. In all in all, I think it would keep us from having a compulsory government and more of a liberalized government.

Chef, as one of the original authors of our Bill of Rights, I know the values and democratic principles that lie within them and the necessity to protect them.
For example, I wrote up legislation that preserved the rights of those sentenced to C/PoT with the following piece of legislation:

Unfortunately, at least one of my opponents voted against that legislation which I strongly condemn.
Another example is when I proposed legislation that detaches RNP from the Rockport government and pushes for a more free media. This legislation has led to the creation of other media outlets such as the Rockport Advocate:

All in all, I think it's important to preserve our rights while also doing so responsibly. They must be geared to work for the people and not against them, something I plan to continue to push for as Representative and/or Speaker.
