A Law to Let People Know
BE IT ENACTED BY THE STATE OF ROCKPORT CONGRESS HERE ASSEMBLED THAT:
Whereas it may already be considered standard practice for the verdict of a case to be made available to the public, but since the Judicial Branch is not legally obligated to do so,
SECTION 1. The Rockport Judicial Branch shall publish the verdict of a case and the name of the presiding Judge once the case has reached a conclusion. This is to ensure people have easy access to the details of cases that are of interest to them.
SECTION 2. “Publish” meaning posting the details of a case -- in any format, whether that is through a ROBLOX forum thread or other means -- on the State of Rockport shout.
SECTION 3. The Rockport Judicial Branch shall oversee the enforcement of this bill.
SECTION 4. This legislation shall go into effect immediately upon passage.
SECTION 5. All laws in conflict with this legislation are hereby declared null and void.
