One of my places that I made back in 2014 has a script or something called "infection", what is that? The place is mainly designed by me with the exception of the weapons, certain scripts, props and some vegetation that I was too lazy to build on my own as I rushed the entire project. Now the place turned out to be alright but what is "infection?" Is it bad or is it a troll of some sort?

Its a file that will keep on duplicating itself within the game, I would say get a anti virus plugin for studio.

Does it affect gameplay or ruin the place in general?

Yes, it affects the gameplay. You should remove it. Infections are usually caused by free models.

I do have a few lying around, but its too late to remove it from the first game I made as it spread everywhere.

Go back into the studio and delete all of them. They duplicate themselves everywhere and generally lag out your server and your game.

Yes :P I have looked into them before and found that they usually start making parts in random places on your map, and then deleting them over and over every 0.1 second.

That will be a pain, not only that but the updates have also broken many of the weapons in the game so its basically obsolete.
