The Peacekeepers is a vigilante group active in the southeastern United States. Its intention is to expel anarchists or other threatening groups presence from the southeastern US and to establish a peaceful wasteland within the region. Partially a successor to multiple secessionist groups, it was officially formed on 7 October 2099, by the Ex-CDF operative Alex Sikes, who became its first leader. Sikes then appointed Robert Mann as his Deputy. Sikes described himself as the "Judge" while Mann was the "Sheriff". The group has poor numbers, but what it lacks for in quantity, it backs up in quality. They mainly draw from small settlements and occasionally big towns. The group (which included a number of volunteers, among them and groups of other Separatists) has a limited number of heavy weapons, supplied from the USCPF. The place they like to 'Hangout', is in Southside, in the Justice Department. They take their arrested there and discuss why the person did their crime. If it is minor, the person will be warned and have an eye kept on them. If the crime is major, they will take them to the CDF and dump the person with them. The group have a slight advantage in that they are highly motivated and familiar with the terrain. As most of the group are local citizens or ex-servicemen. Operatives are divided into combat groups consisting of 4-5, all carrying cuffs and zip wires for contacts. Sikes originally refused to supply the group with heavy weapons and vests, limiting their combat arsenal to common USCPF weapons, along with simple Tier1 vests, but now supplies all operatives with said equipment. Sikes accused Mann of accepting anyone who would volunteer, including bandits and deserters from the opposing forces, in which Sikes came to agree with and so they continue to accept them. The group often are used as mercenaries to carry out plans to arrest highly wanted individuals or groups.
