I: Strike Rule
• Each team will get 3 strikes, once earned 3 the coach will be fired.
Specific ways to get strikes:
• Forfeit a game
• Cheat in a game
• Illegal signings
You will get a strike for any illegal actions. Commissioners will decide if they are worthy enough to receive a strike.
II: League Rules
• 6v6 and 7v7 games will be played. If you both teams have 7, 7v7 must be played.
• 2 Subs can be used for a team, those subs will be chosen by skill level. (Refs will decide)
• Signings will be posted on the wall, the team owner and player must agree.
• A transfer can occur when a player asks his coach for a transfer, their coach may ask the team he wants to go to for another player. Each team must agree to terms.
• Holding a player hostage will result in a strike, and that player will automatically be released.
• If any player is caught using an alt, they will be exiled from the league.
• If a player joins the league on an alt but everyone knows who he is, they will still be exiled. Main accounts must be in the league, not alternates.
• If a player accepts to 2 teams without being released they will receive punishment.
III: Team Requirements
• Each team must have a Head Coach, and a Co-Coach.
• Each team must have their own stadium.
• Each team must have a matching home jersey (being dark colored) and a matching away jersey (being light colored.)
• Helmets are required.
• Each team must have at least 12 Players.
IV: Gameplay
• 4 Quarters, 5 minutes each quarter.
• Each team will receive 3 time outs per half.
• 4 Downs, 10 yard first down.
• Clock stops after:
- Kickoffs
- Turnovers
- First downs
- Incomplete pass
- Player goes out of bounds
• The clock stops after first downs, once the chains are set the clock will start again.
V: Overtime
• Overtime will start with a coin flip, the away team calls the flip.
• If Team A wins the toss, they may select offense or defense.
• If Team A choses defense, they will still get an offensive chance no matter what.
• The Offensive team will start at the 25 yard line.
• If Team A kicks a field goal, and Team B scores a touch down, Team B wins the game.
• If both Team A and Team B score a touchdown, another overtime will be played.
VI: Offensive Rules
• The ball must be snapped on every play.
• Hiking in team chat is not allowed, but alternate words are allowed. (Any words are fine) EX: Omaha, Hut, Clap, etc.
• A quarterback may run whenever.
• Pushing off of a CB or setting picks will result in a pass interference call.
• If the WR goes out of bounds then comes back in and touches the ball, it will result in a penalty.
• A quarterback may jump over the blockers as much as they need.
• Stacking on players heads will result in illegal formation.
• No player with the ball can dive for yards unless it is into the endzone.
• Using "T" (Dive) to get open is illegal.
• The center can only snap it to the QB or RB.
VII: Defensive Rules
• No defensive player will be able to dive until the QB has crossed the LOS or the ball is released. Diving to get closer to a WR is illegal.
• Jumping over the centers head is legal.
• Stacking on players heads will result in illegal formation.
• Shoving a WR out of bounce will result in defensive pass interference.
• Mile interceptions/tackles
- First warning: Redo
- Second warning: Flag
- Third warning: Ejection
• Miles will be judged my refs.
VIII: Special Teams
• Kickoffs are kicked at the 35 on 75 power below.
• Stacking on kickoffs is illegal.
• If the ball is kicked off and goes out of bounds before it hits the endzone the receiving team will get the ball at the 40 yard line.
• PATs/Field goals are kicked on 65 power or below.
• The los for PAT attempts is the 10.
• The kicker must stay inside the 20 yard line on PAT attempts.
• The ball must be snapped on PAT attempts.
• Hiding the ball on PATs/Field Goals will result in a flag.
• Punts must be on 70 power or below.
• A punt may travel out of bounds.
• It is an auto punt if the los is behind the 50 on 4th down UNLESS:
- Less than 2 minutes in the half
- 4th and 2 or less.
• The ball must be snapped.
• The kicker must be within 10 yards of the LOS.
• Each team will get 2 onside kicks per game.
• You may only use 1 onside kick the first half, if you still have both the 2nd half you can use them both.
• The kicking team will kick from the 35.
• The receiving team will line up on their 45.
• The ball must cross the kicking teams 45.
IX: Flags
• Offsides (OS) - 5 yards
- Player is lined up passed the LOS.
• Illegal formation - 5 yards
- Players are stacking.
• Neutral Zone Infraction (NZI) - 5 yards
- A defensive player crosses the LOS inside the hashes.
• - Encroachment - 10 yards
- Defensive player makes contact with an offensive player.
• False Start (FS) - 5 yards
- Any offensive player moves across the LOS before the ball is snapped.
• Pass interference - 15 yards.
• Forward pass - 5 yards
- A player throws the ball forward passed the LOS.
• Intentional grounding - 5 yards
- A QB throws the ball nowhere near any player inside the pocket
• Unsportsmanlike Conduct - 5 yards
- Disrespectful behavior by a player towards an opponent or ref.
• Equipment Flag - 5 yards
- A player isn't wearing the correct jersey or helmet.
• Holding - 5 yards
- An offense or defensive player dives when not allowed.
• Illegal snap - 5 yards
- The center snaps to a player not in the back field.
• Mile - 5 yards
- The second time one player tackles their opponent from a distance.
• Illegal kick - 5 yards
- The kicking team does not meet the required special teams rules.
• To many men (TMM) - 10 yards
- A team has more than 6 or 7 on the field. (Depending if 6v6 or 7v7)
• Delay of game (DoG) - 5 yards
- The QB does not snap the ball before the play clock runs out.
• Horsecollar - 5 yards
- A defensive player dives behind the los and tackles a player.
• Illegal Diving
- A player dives with the ball and not allowed. |
