While competing at a non-AJRW event, the current Triple Crown Heavyweight Champion LRW sustained a Grade II (potentially III) sprain of the medial collateral ligament (MCL) on his left knee. Despite being able to finish the match, LRW would seek emergency medical treatment, where it was determined he would be on the sidelines ranging from 1-2 months, perhaps even longer. We the people of All Japan would like to send our deepest regrets to each and everyone of the fans and wrestlers, and we would like to send our sincerest condolences and gratitude to LRW for putting the company on the spotlight with his recent high quality performances.
Regarding the Triple Crown Heavyweight Champion, the belt WILL NOT be vacated as we will evaluate on a hourly and daily basis to determine what the best solution is for both members of the party. As of now the main event will still go on as scheduled, however if the case of LRW turns out to be a long-term setback for him, the main event will be changed.
