I overclocked my monitor to reach 70Hz. Unfortunately, ROBLOX is capped at 60FPS. Anyone have any ideas on how to unlock the framerate? Thanks.

You can't.
And why would you need more framerate?

"Because everyone loves more FPS ^"
i really doubt you can overclock to 70hz
there's no common denominator between 60 and 70

just buy an expensive gaming chair and you'll get all the fps

ya buy a gaming desk and your monitor will automagically run at 144hz
mv /home/siggy /dev/null |

why going above 60 fps? 120 FPS wont look much smoother as our brain can only process in NTSC/PAL. <(All i say here is a joke) |

You can increase a monitor's refresh rate by overclocking it.
And is there definitely no way to disable ROBLOX's vsync?
|
|
|
you cannot overclock a monitor unless you own a CRT still
what you're doing is upping the output rate of your graphics card, which is very dangerous for most LED, LCD and Plasma monitors.
roblox is locked at 60fps, and going to 70fps will be unnoticeable anyway |

I played multiple Steam games today, and I, for one, could tell the difference. Quick-reaction games like CS:GO was where the extra 10 FPS made the most difference.
You can see what I did here: http://prntscr.com/b1fr0g

"Quick-reaction games like CS:GO"
lmao that game is garbage

I understand that more framerate is thought of as better graphics, but, do we REALLY need such high framerates?
if you want it, still, remember:
you can always poke at the game's codes with inspect element.
however, try not to screw up everything. |
|
|
inspect element does not let you change roblox's code
especially not the games code
inspect element just shows you the HTML and CSS used to display the webpage, and at that, unless you are using custom website styling tools, you cant actually permanently change anything |

every frame gets expended at a rate of 1/1000, and is deleted forever. try upgrading the memory card for roblox |
|

I don't associate frames per second with graphical fidelity. I'd much rather have more frames than more particle effects.
And I seriously doubt inspect element will do anything to ROBLOX's in-game code.
This, "memory card," you speak of;
1) No longer exists. We're not in the PS2 era anymore.
2) If I assume you mean HDD or RAM, that won't change anything. My system has 12GB of RAM, 3GB of VRAM, and a 3.4Ghz Quad-core CPU. My system is more than capable of running ROBLOX at a framerate higher than 60.
The problem isn't with my PC's capability, but rather ROBLOX's framelock.
