It used to be possible for a user who made Roblox literally $0.00 to make a life on here. You could build a place, have all your friends over, and EARN tickets that could be converted to Robux. And without a single penny made by Roblox (although nearly impossible with the sheer volume of ads and sponsors, it's at least feasible). From nothing to everything, and with absolutely nothing but hard work and dedication.
It used to be hard enough for the average NBC user to earn anything, what with the steep price gouges and overcompensation for the lack of control thereover. Now, it's literally impossible. The redundancy of the situation means that the poor stay poor until they give their truly hard-earned money over to a corporation that does...well, this.
It used to be possible to take a pile of earnings from place visits and make a pile of Robux using the Currency Exchange. Now, Robux are only truly 'made' by spending real money to get it. Roblox can now monitor, fix, and dictate an economy like never before. If they want more money, they can simply raise prices. If their stockholders want more money, they do the same. There's no incentive but profit and control that led to the Tixapalooza fiasco. Every user abhors the decisions of Roblox executives just as Americans hated the executives for sending us into wars that were naught but to secure business interests in the Middle East.
It used to be feasible for a DevEx member to make real money with real hard work and just having F2P users like their games, as to keep coming back. Now, every user has no net worth unless they contribute physical money to a virtual world and spend those Robux accordingly. It teaches children that success is neither won nor achieved, but purchased; and that every individual is but a wallet that's either full and worthy or empty and disposable.
