goldfishmemories' supporters basically are a cult, but calling them a "cult" portrays them in a more negative way then deserved.
goldfish imo was a very smart forumer (he's been inactive for nearly 2 years now and I'm guessing he isn't coming back so that's why I say "was"), and his ideas were genius even though a lot of people didn't get why they were viewed as genius, and of course they were overshadowed by its contreversy. And even though the supporters are stubborn and hardheaded in regards to different opinions (but to be fair they were all extremely devoted), it's because it creates a really good philosophy regarding ROBLOX. People a member of "The Movement" don't care about the greediness arguments and the endless cycle of debates regarding complaints about ROBLOX's system, but rather the deeper meaning and the economy as a whole so their mindset is a lot more fruitful. No one actually cares about how they can't get R$ or how the system is against them, they only care about helping people understand their knowledge and suggest fixes to ROBLOX's problems.
goldfishmemories' following isn't perfect (arguments and flame wars plagued his threads and a lot of PAs were made against him), but they're a million times better than ROBLOX's current trashposting S&I community.
Reading goldfishmemories' content for the first time actually revealed some things to me about ROBLOX and it's the reason why I understand so much about how ROBLOX works. If I didn't read goldfishmemories, I'd probably be a useless trashposting hamster too like some of the people on S&I.
I say this because I was one of those supporters.
goldfishmemories' threads were about illuminating the truth behind ROBLOX and everything that means, even though that's not entirely what they were about. They were about helping people understand that ROBLOX just like all other businesses has flaws and they don't have to work through those flaws and watch them get worse, and get rid of their ridiculously thick tunnel vision and illuminate them to what is really going on.
And to be perfectly honest, thanks to ROBLOX's removal of the thread, they actually made it more popular than ever, because now goldfishmemories' ideas are being brought back and the thread is now being spammed and paid attention to by more people. So, it's kind of ironic that by them trying to get rid of it they just revitalized it. In fact, the only reason goldfishmemories stopped being a topic 2 years ago was because they locked his thread back in 2014. |

Making my own remake of goldfishmemories. Okay, so in the near future maybe 2018 we could possibly see a new Builders club spike into existence. I'm guessing DBC Dangerous Builders Club. Also, we could see Roblox's twitch channel end, they only tag InceptionTime's streams and some boring repetitive ones. We could also see a couple admins leaving, Idk who but you guys can predict. And maybe just maybe, the last egg hunt event on Roblox. This is just a theory, thanks for reading. |

Now, ROBLOX makes money off of both ads and traffic. Traffic means basically how often a site is used. This income is thanks to the surplus amount of BLOXians playing ROBLOX, most being just everyday kids. So let me be the first to say that if you think that these NBCers who have never contributed anything to ROBLOX aren't making ROBLOX money then you're DEAD WRONG. These are the actual margins for income:
Advertisements and sponsorships: 50+%
Ads and Traffic: 35-%
Purchases: 5-%
Builders' Club: 10-%
Let me also be the first to say that if you think that Builders' Club acts as ROBLOX's life support to keep the site up you are only half right. ROBLOX does need Builders' Club, but definitely not to keep the site up. If that were true we'd already be shut down. They need you for profit. At the end of the day, when ROBLOX has to pay, leftover ad funds (which are decent) and Builders' Club are what they take for their salaries and bank to use for later development and updates. So you guys are pretty important, but not only you; they need EVERYONE. Now I'm sure many of you think that traffic doesn't make sites money it just provides a gateway to advertisement deals. And you'd be entirely right, if it weren't for the fact that ROBLOX gets paid by CPM.
