Hello, I would like to call this thread a "rant" because I will be doing a LOOOONG page about this topic. So please keep your tldr to yourselves and move on if you are not willing to read a LOOOONG page of PBS servers.

Introduction:
Hello!, my username is robopaul1 and I am here to talk about the removal of PBS servers. As some of you know(you may not but whatever) roblox said on the ROBLOX Blog in the Teamcreate article that PBS servers are to be removed soon. This shocked me as I have built many creations with PBS along with others. PBS created little communities which flourish like education, government, game show, boat ride communities. It was a very fun experience riding in boats, doing car tests, seeing plays, playing fun games such as Whodunnit and Total drama island and more. These little communities help PBS flourish into a fun private playerbase. But all that is about to change because of Teamcreate...
About Teamcreate: I have to say Teamcreate is a great feature that allows people to work together in studio to create magnificent games. However, because of this roblox thinks PBS is almost like Teamcreate and wants PBS to buzz off. That's like saying club penguins DJ3K being replaced with Soundstudio except that it is not the same. PBS servers are much different because it allow people to build with each other IN PLAYER, PBS tools are simple and easier than studio tools, and it is a BC feature. PBS servers are simple to use and is very fun to collaborate to build magnificent structures.
About PBS: PBS was created in 2012 to host private building servers(if you had BC) to build simple creations, it had fun games such as Whodunnit, Musical chairs, and much more as I said in the introduction. PBS servers allowed me to create structures such as schools, apartments, roads, and much more unlike studio which is way to complex for me. PBS allowed me to extend my imagination to build a working playground like swings, rocketships, working doors, etc. It helped me built simple things that would take me a longer period of time in studio to figure out. PBS is a simple building environment with a lot of experiments that you can do without the complexity of roblox studio. It allowed you to build with friends and have fun together. None of that experience and amusement can match Teamcreate.
It is a BC feature: Why remove a feature which BC players want? BC players buy BC because of this so that they can create groups and then host a wide variety of events or bulid a community. You are taking away a small chunk of a community who BUYS BC just because of PBS. Teamcreate you don't have to pay for the feature but for PBS you do. PBS allowed BC players to showcase their creations on a different platform instead of showcasing it to a large platform(regular servers) which would have not been seen because of the traffic in them.
Against removal of PBS servers: A lot of people are against the removal of PBS servers. Their effort and hardwork is being removed because of the removal of PBS servers. A VERY small percentage of them will be able to transition to studio due to the complexity of its tools. PBS is to be a social building base where players can bulid simple games and host sessions with it. It's being replaced JUST BECAUSE of Teamcreate. Why can't PBS co-exist with Teamcreate? A mod once told me that PBS servers aren't able to stay because it took "too much space" in roblox and it "not much people use it". I find that to be a very sad logical perspective because IF not a lot of people use then how does PBS servers take up space???
Solution to reintroduce PBS servers: I have to agree that PBS servers are a bit outdated and needs its platform to be renovated somehow, here are my solutions...
-Allow owners to remove certain objects such as C4 and that electric thingy(Sorry I forgot XD)
This feature will allow these objects to be restricted from the member of the PBS server so that they aren't able to abuse the object.
-Allow owners to have building paremeters
This feature will allow owners to set a scale limit so that members don't spam the baseplate with high scability bricks, this also allows for building accidents to be reduced so it is easy to clean up the mess.
-Allow owners to have a build log
This feature allows owners to see who is spamming high scabality bricks and ban the user. This will help stop the abuse of the place and make it a exploit-free place.
-Allow owners to insert a building kit in the build tool for builders
It is very annoying to have to insert an object for your PBS place in order to bulid a modern structure. You have to walk back and forth every time you want to add a certain model to a certain place of a map which is very annoying. This feature will help builders to create modern

-Allow tools to be more flexible with parts
If I want to create a ramp I either have to create a get btools from admin or use F3X. If roblox allowed the additional tools tool to make wedges bigger it would be a timesaver! Also it would be helpful for the rotate tool to go in more directions instead of the 4 basic ones
-Build more High scability parts
Still KEEP the old high scabality bricks but make new ones for them such as a new texture such as a red brick wall or a green plastic block. Also add new parts such as a long wedge, A 2 sided wedge which will help with unevened rooftop structures such as a house(I sometimes overestimate and I have 1 block of wedge missing in the middle of the house structure which is ugly). Also add upside down wedges so we can make our structures more beautiful. This feature will help improve the creativity of the PBS community.

In conclusion: I think PBS servers should stay because of its simple building platform. It lets people be social with one another and build astounding architecture. It also helps the community to build self-esteem(may not sometimes the community is rude I WILL ADMIT :() with one another with owners hosting game shows. PBS is nothing like teamcreate which is building together in ROBLOX studio and is also a BC feature so why remove your income roblox?

@Pressurized I completely understand that this forum is for the suggestion of new stuff that roblox could add but I don't find this thread to be appropiate for other subforums. It makes sense for this thread to be posted here. I understand that I ranted for the removal of of personal servers but where am I suppost to state my opinion. |

@vcr My question is that in your alternative is the feature going to be a bc feature plus can it be a 1 server game. Also how is the server going to stand out if it is joined with other regular servers. |

Robo: No, it'll be for everyone. And why would it work for one-player servers? What?
And it'll either be marked with an LS for Live Studio/Server or that it can be the only server that can run if enabled. It'll allow as much players as you want. |

Support. I don't know why ROBLOX is content on removing any possibility of new users being able to make their own fun games. Seriously, new users will have ZERO platform to learn the basics of ROBLOX creation.
Without a dedicated section, small games like boat rides, schools, hotels, etc. will have no player base.
It's simple Team Create is for power users, PBS is for users who enjoy simple games and building. Both communities should be equally respected.
