The Great Empire Of Sweden* Introduction: Welcome to The Great Empire Of Sweden! In this guide you will be learning formations and training commands alongside with the appropriate behavior of a soldier. Also, this guide will explain how the promotion system works. Joining the army means that a soldier has complete understanding of these rules and is ready to expect a punishment in case of crossing them. Table of Contents: I. Soldier’s Behavior II. Training Commands III. Formations IV. Promotion System I. Soldier’s Behavior: - A soldier must be active and should always wear the full uniform with the correct hat provided in the fort. (Top and bottom) - A soldier must always refer to his superiors as “Herr” or “Frun”. In case of a dispute, a soldier shall not argue about it in public, but will wait for a meeting with the superior. - A soldier must always answer the high rank with “Ja, Herr!” - A soldier should always use grammar which shows professionalism. - A soldier have to show respect to all soldiers and high ranks with ultimate discipline. - A soldier will not ask for promotions. Asking for promotions will lead the soldier to serious punishment that allows a demotion or an exile. - A soldier should not underestimate his/her skills and their fellow teammates’ skills. Also, help new soldiers if needed. - A soldier should not team kill his fellow teammates. In case of team killing, a high rank should be informed. - A soldier must speak after permission is given. To ask for permission, a soldier should say “Permission To Speak” or “PTS”. After that, a high rank will grant or deny the permission. *In case of crossing the behavior rules, there will be a verbal warning at first, the soldier will be kicked out of server at second, and a demotion or an exile at third.* II. Training Commands: [Firing]: - Ripple fire: Soldiers from the Commandants left fire one by one down the line and reload when ordered to. - Volley fire: All soldiers fire at once, and reload when ordered to. - Blanket fire: All soldiers fire and reload until the command “Cease Fire” is ordered. - Cease fire: Stop firing. - Fire at Will: Firing on your own will. [Faces]: - Right face: Turn 90 degrees to your right using the mouselock. - Left face: Turn 90 degrees to your left using the mouselock. - About face: Turn 180 degrees from any direction you are facing. - Right incline: Turn 45 degrees to your right. - Left incline: Turn 45 degrees to your left. [Musket]: - Support Arms: F - Right Shoulder Shift: G - Order Arms: H - Right Shoulder: J - Trail Arms: K [Battle Commands]: - Hold this position: A soldier holds the position until another order is given. - Charge: A soldier charges and kill the enemy on sight. - Advance: Advance WITH the high rank. - Fall back: Fall back WITH the high rank. - On me: A soldier follows the high rank. - SFL/Single File Line: Soldiers Line Up Behind the High Rank In a STRAIGHT Line. - STS/Shoulder To Shoulder: Line up with everyone else Shoulder By Shoulder Facing The Commandant. - (Number) Hell Jacks: The number ordered to go to, count up until done, EX: Commandant: 3 Hell Jacks! Go! "ONE!" Jump TWO!" Jump THREE!" Jump III. Formations: - Square Formation: Forming a basic square around the officer facing the outside. The officer will decide if the soldiers will present their weapons or stay in shoulder arms position. This formation is used to protect the officer from any cavalry attacks. - Platoon Formation: Where soldiers stand in two lines. In one line, the person on the left end will step out and move to the end of the right side of the line. Then after he has moved, the next will move, and so on until the line is even. Then the first rank will present arms and crouch. - Column Formation: From one line you will make two lines, one directly behind the officer and one on the left side of him. This formation will look like the letter “L”. This will form a 2 column formation and you will be able to march in this formation at a slower walk speed. - Steady Raid Formation: STS in front of the officer, present arms, fix bayonets, and shoulder arms. - Vertical Steady Raid Formation: Make a single file in front of the officer, present arms, fix bayonets, and shoulder arms. - Wedge Formation: Forming a triangular shaped formation that is filled with soldiers. - Arrow Head Formation: In this formation the soldiers will stand in the form of the letter “V” shape. IV. Promotions System: * A Soldier will only be promoted IF: - A high rank gives a note stating why that soldier should be promoted. - Soldier follows all the rules and show full understanding of the concepts. - Soldier be active in group’s training/raid/practice raid at least each 2 days. - There is an even space provided in the next rank, to prevent ranks from getting flooded with soldiers. - Mature, Fast and Officiant, With Grammar.
