Is he really the most VALUABLE player in the league? The Warriors do well without Curry, shown by their playoff domination without him and only 2 losses. However, Cavs without LeBron? They would struggle as hard as the Rockets to get into the playoffs, let alone win a championship! LeBron is more valuable to his team than Curry is valuable to the Warriors. People, even NBA officals, mistake the MVP award for the "best player award" but it should the most VALUABLE player to his team. If there was a best player award, Curry would win no doubt with 50 40 90 and leading a team to 73 wins. Just my views. Proud to have been a supporter of the Golden State Warriors on their journey to greatness - Who achieved 73-9 and became the best team in history.

Dark youre anti-lebron so you dont count And btw 30 ppg 50-40-90 and 73-9 doesnt lead him to the most VALUABLE player Because his team is already real good without him and playoff level LeBrons team is crappy without him, first round exists at MOST. And they are going into the finals and sweeping through the playoffs. Even their season record is good, they are 50+ wins! Season records would be: Warriors without Curry = High 40, low 50 wins Cavs without LeBron = anything less than 40 wins Proud to have been a supporter of the Golden State Warriors on their journey to greatness - Who achieved 73-9 and became the best team in history.

That doesn't matter what Cavs do. Curry does a helluva lot more (considering he practically won ot for them..) #TeamSun#TeamLitten

OT? Really? OT? LeBron practically won 75% or more of their regular season games and is the reason they swept through the first and secound round of the playoffs. "he practically won ot for them" WTF? Proud to have been a supporter of the Golden State Warriors on their journey to greatness - Who achieved 73-9 and became the best team in history.

@xxvech Yes, 17 points, thats clutch and called important, true, but can he do that in almost every or the majority of his games? heck no! LeBron pulled off incredible crap whenever his teammates were all trashy and won and blew out multiple games pretty much ALONE. He didnt even need overtime to show how valuable he is because he destroys the other team before the 4th quarter even starts. This is the MVP for the whole league not one team. If curry was on the cavs, imagine what would happen.

"Lead the team to a historical record 73-9" Steph Curry didn't single handedly lead the team to 73-9, note Cavs r like 1-5 without lebron while Warriors still had a good record without Curry out of the games he didn't play, I am not a fan of either but I still think lebron is more of a leader.

I'm sorry Who came up clutch more for either team? Lebron started all this baby drama that got his coach fired, refs help him more that it looks like Shaq is the one fouling him, and his conference is just bad..... I want to see Lebron "carry" a team in the west, then he can talk

Blatt had the record he had because of lebron's leading in all honesty, there were numerous times where Lebron was biggest a bigger coach than him lol. He should of been fired which he was, lebron shouldn't be playing and coaching at same time.

Curry is the best player in the NBA and way more valuable than LeBron. Although Golden State beat Portland practically without Curry, they struggled mightily in every game, often times conceding a huge lead early. With Curry, the Warriors would have swept the Blazers with ease.

"I want to see Lebron "carry" a team in the west" LeBron has been carrying teams his entire career lol (except for when he was in Miami)

Since you are new the basketball. In Lebron's 4 year reign with the Heat, they averaged a winning percentage of 71.8%. Which is around 60 wins a year. James won 2 MVPs while at Miami with the monster house Heat team. With Wade at the end of his prime, and Bosh, they were easilly a 55 win team without Lebron. This is the same case. When you are surrounded by talent they can survive without you against weaker teams.

"so he only carried one team?" That's not what's being discussed. He carried the Cavaliers in every season before he left for Miami, and the two years since his return. When someone says he "carried a team," they mean that they carried that team that season, not that they carried the entire franchise.

@123 No, when Lebron left the heat, did you see, they got 37-45 as their season record. While LeBron was on heat in 2013-14, Wade was older and Bosh was injured and Ray Allen was old af, only LeBron was leading them and he still led them to the finals and grabbed a win against san antonio himself. @nothulk But Curry is not on the Cavs. He is on the Warriors. Ifs like "IF HE WAS ON THAT TEAM" dont matter in discussion about the MVP. Most Valuable Player as of the moment, not "if" he was on another team. He is the MVP of his team, but with LeBron being the sole reason the Cavs made the playoffs and sweeped every team and got into the 50 win club. Curry is not the sole reason his team got 73-9, Green and Klay were immense in the decision. Kyrie was gone 30 games in the season and LeBron still pulled off the 50 win club. Curry, Green and Klay all played like 77+ games. And do you really think the Cavs could do the same stuff Warriors-less Curry did without LeBron? "@123 No, when Lebron left the heat, did you see, they got 37-45 as their season record." Yeah, just ignore that Bosh missed 38 games and Wade missed 20 games last season. Whiteide didn't get quality minutes until about January/February. They would've made the playoffs if they stayed healthy

They ONLY won 54 games in 13-14. Wade only played 54 games, and in the finals they had the Big Three. BUT they were extremely OUT played as they didn't even score 100 in ANY of the 5 games. In 2014-2015 Miami missed 20 games from Wade, and half the season from Bosh. You really can't use it as an example.
