I might write a story in my spare time, comprised of 16 different chapters. There will be 16 characters who each have one-on-one fight scenes that make up the bulk of the writing and then some filler in between to justify the fighting. It'll come out all in one big chunk probably when I finish writing it so that I don't commit to a story that you don't get to see finished and when I post it it'll probably be one chapter a day.
What I need from you guys, though, is a small writing project/contest - I need you guys to write up sixteen medieval fantasy-esque characters, maybe a paragraph per character, for me to use in my story. PM it to me, and any contestant can submit as many people as he or she wants. My favourite sixteen will be the characters in the story that do the fighting and you'll know who won the contest without me needing to explain how to figure it out. |

Roq, medieval fantasy is the most common genre here, and I'm giving you lots of leeway in the addition of the phrase "esque". It can't be that difficult. |

Also, what role will these characters be fulfilling, exactly? Is this a tournament of some sort? |

The role that they fulfill in the story is of little consequence; I need no backstory from you, only appearance, personality and fighting skills.
Also, I should mention, heavy bias will be given to those who are new and who I haven't worked with extensively before so that I can better showcase the abilities of the newcomers to this forum. Basically, Benzo, it'd have to be your best damn work to stand a chance to be in the story. |

Also, yeah, try to stick with immediately recognizable races. They don't have to be just Elves, Dwarves and Men; you can do anything you think you'd find in a game of D&D, basically. |
