Here is my theory on the three types of roleplaying. There is over-roleplaying, under-roleplaying, and moderate roleplaying.
WARNING: Sort of long read!
NOTE: Some of the stuff between stars is stuff that the players did in the game, NOT what they actually said for roleplay.
= Over-Roleplaying Example =
[Player 1]: /name Weird Bunny // Jumps Really High // Eats Nuclear Tacos
[Player 1]: Say 123 for a bunny.
[Player 3]: 123
[Player 1]: *Goes to player 3's house*
[Player 3]: Hi
[Player 1]: I am hungry.
[Player 3]: *Gets nuclear tacos with alien magic*
[Player 1]: *Eats*
[Player 1]: *GETS NUCLEAR FARTS*
[Player 1]: *DESTROYS WORLD WITH NUCLEAR FARTS*
= Under-Roleplaying Example =
[Player 2]: Ready for class kids?
[Everyone]: Yes, teacher!
[Player 2]: *Teaches kids*
3 SECONDS LATER...
[Player 2]: Time for recess, kids!
[Everyone]: *Plays in park*
2 SECONDS LATER...
[Player 2]: Okay time for lunch kids!
[Everyone]: Yay
[Everyone]: *Goes inside*
[Everyone]: *Eats*
1 SECOND LATER...
[Player 2]: Time to go home kids!
[Everyone]: Bye teacher!
[Player 4]: Bye, teacher! Tomorrow is another day of the exact same thing!
= Moderate Roleplaying Example =
[Player 24]: Hi, buddy!
[Player 25]: Hi, buddy! Want to play some video games?
[Player 24]: Sure!
[Both]: *Goes to house*
[Player 25]: *Puts game in* (If you really must know, it's called "Super Star Shooters 2". ...just a random name I came up with. Or maybe it is a game? I'm not sure. -OP)
[Both] *Gets controller and plays game*

[Player 25]: Oh boy, the pizza's here!
