Bravo-Gamma are places on a place that you have are important to the operation. Zulu is the extraction area or target area. Alert Levels Alpha-Peace:Business as usual. Bravo-Patroling:Minor situation, patrols start occuring more frequently. Charlies-Military Mobilazation: Possible raid threat, Marines prepare for raids and defenseive situations. Delta-Combat Situation: A raid has begun or a raid is about to be conducted on an enemy force. Echo-Emergancy Situation: Hackers present. All USMC Bases evacuated and report to the designated USMC Base. [Customes and Courtesies] Customes and courtesies have been made over the long history of the United States Marine Corps. They are a form of polliteness and respect for fellow Marines. Saluting(in formation) Saluting in formation is prohibited without the order given by the company commander for a Hand Salute. Reason is because if only one person salutes in formation, the company will look foolish infront of the senior or whoever the person is saluting. Saluting(out and about) Salute all seniors(E7+) when you are walking with someone or by yourself. If a senior's name is visable, stop walking, face the senior, render a hand salute until the senior gives a return salute or walks out an estimated 10 steps away from you. Once you salute, do not turn towards him, you should turn to him before you salute. If a senior is in a car, stop and salute untl the car passes. Saluting(watch or gaurd) When you are on watch or gaurd, you will be given a salute order in which you will be ordered to salute all seniors or not to salute seniors unless they are currently incharge of you or it is the CMC. Salute Order-Salute all seniors: When given this order, stand your post and salute any senior within name reading distance until a return salute is given or they walk 10 steps away from you. Do NOT turn and face them for a salute if you are on watch or gaurd. You also may stop the salute in the event a someone tries to get past you or go against orders you are instructed to enforce. Salute Order-No Salutes: If you are given this order, the only seniors you salute is the person incharge of your watch or gaurd or the CMC. If a senior asks why you have not saluted them, respond "Sir, This "rank" was given a No Salutes order by his Watch/guard officer, sir. Doors/hallways: If you are and a senior are walking into a building, let the officer go in first unless it is a double door. If you are in a narrow hallway and a senior is walking through, step aside and let the senior through. [Chain of Command] The Chain of Command is what keeps the USMC well organized and solves problems. We use this in order to prevent people running a battalion from recieving PMs about problems in other battalions or to prevent officers having to deal with minor problems. CoC of a Division Commanding Officer l Executive Officer l SGTMAJ l l l BATCO BATCO BATCO l l l BATXO BATXO BATXO How this works: The Chain of Command was established to make the USM be more efficient and more organized. It is a very easy system to follow because all you have to remember is that if you have anything you need to tell a HR about, you just PM the person above you and they'll do the same and so on until it reaches the person it was intended to go to. Questions: Questions about schedules or events will be answered by the planner which might be a BATCO or SGTMAJ. The person asking the question sends the question to the person above them in the CoC. If the person who recieved the question does not know, they go up the CoC until an answer is given. Problems: If there is a problem, you notify the person above you in the CoC. Lets say your an PFC and you have an argument with another PFC. Instead of telling the ACAM or CO of your division, you will notify the person above you. Being a PFC, that person above you would be your BATXO(Battalion Executive Officer). If you are having a problem with the person above you, then you notify the person above them. Problem Scale: 1-Minor Issue 2-Medium Issue 3-Major Issue If a problem is rated as a 1, it is an issue that should be solved by the BATXO and the BATCO if needed. If a problem is rated as a 2, it is an issue that should be passed on from the BATXO to the BATCO and to the SGTMAJ and the SGTMAJ should handle the problem. If a problem is rated a 3, it is an issue that should be passed up all the way to the DIVXO or DIV CO. Examples of 1: Argument with fellow marine, uniform violations, fighting, failure to follow the CoC, etc. Very small issues. Examples of 2: Lieing about a rank or awards, multiple 1 punishments, harrasment of lower ranks or high ranks. Examples of 3: Unfair treatment of lower ranks, rank hopping, uneccessary demotion, uneccessary exilaion, failure to do a job. [Uniform Regulations] Members are only required to buy the standard working uniform for their branch. A combat uniform is recommended but you must have a working uniform becfore you can buy a combat uniform. Branch Working Uniforms: Army: ACU Marines: MCU Desert Note: The USMC has a desert and woodland MCU. The desert is required, then the woodland MCU, then the combat uniform. Dress Uniforms May not wear in combat. Must wear a cover. Hat Regulations Glasses: Only black or tan sunglasses are aloud to be worn at any base. Only officers may wear glasses. Enlisted may not wear glasses except for combat zones and special occations. A red or green beret is acceptable when you aren't at a base. Birds, swords, or additional heads are not aloud. Face Regulations Your face cant have any colors other than black or white. Your face can only have black in woodland combat zones. >:3 and :3 faces are not aloud. Package Regulations You may not wear any packages. Note: If you are unsure about a hat or face, don't wear it. [Base Regulations] There are two types of base regulations, basic and special. Basic Regulations: Apply to all U-S-M bases from training to combat zones. Special Regulations: Apply to one specific base, however they do not overrule basic regulations. [Basic Regulations] -No Faces -No Packages -Must wear the proper uniform -No teamkilling -Salute all officers above you when the time is appropriate. -Do not fly without authorization -No admin abuse -No crashing except when a hacker is present [Special Regulations Restrictions] What may not be included in specal regulations. -Nothing conflicting with Basic Regs. -Must not remove uniform morphs -No Rules of Engagement NOTE: The Rules of Engagement are a danger to those who follow it. Countless lives have been lost due to soldiers following ROE in real life as well as countless soldiers being imprisioned for breaking ROE when they were in a situation where a man points his gun at his friends head and the soldier reacts. ROE is pointless. [Questions] For now, you may PM me, the CJCS, or a JCS. [Updates] This will be updated in the future.
