〔ARTICLE I — LEGISLATION〕
〔SECTION I〕All legislative powers herein granted shall be vested in a Government of the Galactic Republic, which shall consist of a Senate and the Offices of the Vice Chancellor and the Chancellor of the Galactic Republic.
〔SECTION II〕
I. The Senate shall be composed of members chosen every second month by the People of the Galactic Republic in an election.
II. When vacancies happen in the Senate, the Office of the Vice Chancellor thereof shall issue Writs of Election to fill such Vacancies.
III. The Senate shall choose their Speaker and other Officers; and shall have the sole Power of Impeachment for the Vice Chancellorship and Chancellorship and his or her staff.
〔SECTION III〕
The Senators of the Galactic Republic shall each have one Vote.
〔SECTION IV〕
The Vice Chancellor of the Galactic Republic shall be head of the Senate, but shall have no Vote, unless they be equally divided.
〔SECTION V〕The Senate shall have the sole Power to try all impeachments, other than Supreme Chancellor. When for that Purpose, they shall be on Oath or Affirmation. When the Vice Chancellor of the Galactic Republic is tried, the Grand Commander shall preside: And no Person shall be convicted without the Concurrence of two thirds of the Members present.
〔SECTION VI〕
The Senate shall assemble at least once in every Year.
〔SECTION VII〕
Each House may determine the Rules of its Proceedings, punish its Members for disorderly Behaviour, and, with the Concurrence of two thirds, expel a member.
〔ARTICLE II — EXECUTIVE BRANCH〕
〔SECTION I〕
The executive Power shall be vested in a Chancellor of the Galactic Republic.
〔SECTION II〕
The Chancellor shall be the Overseer of the Military of the Galactic Republic. He may require the Opinion, in writing, of the principal Officer in each of the executive Departments, upon any Subject relating to the Duties of their respective Offices, and he shall have Power to grant Reprieves and Pardons for Offenses against the Galactic Republic except in Cases of Impeachment.
〔SECTION III〕
He shall have Power, by and with the Advice and Consent of the Senate, to make Treaties, provided two thirds of the Senators present concur; and he shall nominate, and by and with the Advice and Consent of the Senate, shall appoint Ambassadors, other public Ministers and Consuls, Judges of the supreme Court, and all other Officers of the Galactic Republic, whose Appointments are not herein otherwise provided for, and which shall be established by Law: but the Senate may by Law vest the Appointment of such inferior Officers, as they think proper, in the Chancellor alone, in the Courts of Law, or in the Heads of Departments.
〔SECTION IV〕
The Vice Chancellor and all civil other Officers of the Galactic Republic, except for the Supreme Chancellor, shall be removed from Office on Impeachment for, and Conviction of, Treason, Bribery, or other High crimes and Misdemeanors.
〔SECTION V〕
The Supreme Chancellor is the Sole Leader of the republic, and the people have chosen him or her to lead the Republic. And so he or she may. The Supreme Chancellor may only pass laws voted in the Senate.
〔SECTION VI〕
The Supreme Chancellor is the only figure in the republic able to declare a state of emergency(also known as Executive Law.) In the scenario of an emergency, the Supreme Chancellor gets to decide everything happening in The Galactic Republic, as a monarch would, so that he or she may protect the Republic, it's constitution, and everyone in it.
〔SECTION VII〕
The Supreme Chancellor has no term limit, and may not be impeached. He or she is the only thing that may decide if she is removed from office; be it retirement, or be it death.
〔SECTION IX〕
Should the Supreme Chancellor be incapacitated, The Vice Chancellor would take over the Office of The Supreme Chancellor. It would be the Senate and Interim Supreme Chancellor's job to appoint a new Vice Chancellor.
〔ARTICLE III — JUDICIARY SYSTEM〕
The judicial Power of the Galactic Republic, shall be vested in the High Commanders of The Military. The Commanders shall hold their Offices during good behavior, and shall, at stated Times, receive for their Services a Compensation which shall not be diminished during their Continuance in Office.
〔ARTICLE IV — AMENDING THE CONSTITUTION〕
The Senate, whenever two thirds of it deem it necessary, shall propose amendments to this Constitution.
