So I was playing around with the new lighting effects, and it had a very adventure-y look. Here are some of my ideas for this, please tell me what you think of each one.
1 - An Adventure game, 1 player, this will allow for minimal lag, and can load things only when you are around them.
2 - Islands, so this game will be islands, and you sail to another island for the gameplay. This is another way to keep down lag, by going to different games in a game universe.
3 - The same types of enemies. So lets say Enemy A is the first one you fight, there are lots of them, but they are weak and easy to kill. But they will always have the same amount of life, so you wouldn't find a Level 1: Enemy A or a Level: 10 Enemy A.
4 - Only a few swords, (I'm thinking medieval, the best adventure stuff), so you start with one, and as you go on you might find a better one.
5 - Place saver, so there will be checkpoints through each level. And when you re-join the game it will put you to the nearest checkpoint.
6 - Automatic swords, so when you have a sword and an enemy is nearby you will automatically swing. No need for click, click, click, click, etc.
