Agreed. You know how in movies you have those computers that have crap flying all over the place and it all looks like one big convoluted mess?
Yeah, those are meant to look cool, not actually be usable. Please stop trying to be like that.
The new game page especially - remember the server page? Y'know, the page you used to be able to click "Last" on and find a relatively empty server for you and your friends to join? Enjoy endlessly scrolling and mashing "Load more" for that same effect now!
And the profile page - why is everything just bigger? Do you even understand how ugly that looks on a 1920x1080 screen resolution? Why do I have to click "Creations", then the grid view to get an acceptable view of a user's places?
You haven't made anything look better. All you've done is make me perform more clicks to accomplish a previously effortless task. Yes, I agree the old pages were a little bland, but they worked.
I guess in the end, what I'm trying to say is - don't be like Apple. Don't put "looking pretty" ahead of functionality on your priorities. Aesthetics are a nice touch, but not at the cost of a friendly UI.

@bad this current layout is just like a mobile website's layout.
The old profile was way better (i like the currently wearing feature) because it didn't have 2 tabs, which is stupid.
I'm ok with Game's UI since i don't even care anymore.

What you call "evolving", I call "why is everything so damn hard to get to?" - evolution would imply that the site was actually easier to use because of this change.
I love UI changes - when they make things easier to use. I loved Windows 7's look over XP because while they changed a lot of things, in the end, they made everything easier to use. I hated Windows 8 because some moron decided that my computer is now a mobile phone and full screen internet browsers are apparently a good idea.
Nobody here is stuck in the past. They just want a usable site back. And I'm sorry but when your "ROBLOX 3.0" layout was so bad that I actually went and wrote a Greasemonkey script to get rid of it and replace it with my own ugly but usable UI, I don't call that an improvement. |

Material and flat designs sicken me. I can't find any site or app that has an original layout anymore. They're just all retina scolding white with black text and ONE other color. God forbid I can view a site at night without having to use a night extension.

Ikr things in like they make is less organized just to look good lol or less detail just like how Apple made the icons for some apps like keynote just a white table thingy me bobber with a blue back round.

Btw, they should at least make it so you can change the layout. I'm not saying it's bad how it is, but for those who think it's bad, they should be able to like move the navigation bar on the left to the top and make it horizontal. Or like make the site different colors. And this would go towards pretty much every part of the UI. And maybe revert the versions. |
