Comments were just spam. I think instead of suggestion to bring comments back maybe suggest a new system of commenting. Something that will reduce spam and bring about more helpful comments.

Most people used it for trading, some used it for actual rating, some used it for advertising their selling limiteds.
Other than a few spammers which can catch a silly user off guard, comments were useful.

Spamming the comments for trades is still spamming. |

Although some people did use the comments for legit reasons, the spamming was still out of hand. A new part of the website where trading occurs would be a better solution. I haven't created the suggestion because I think someone else could do it better.

Comments on hats weren't as bad as comments on the game.
They should have removed game comments, not hat comments.
Commenting on hats was the means of many things such as buying, selling, trading, suggestions, etc.

People are going to continue scamming and spamming regardless if comments are gone or not. In fact, removing comments will give them a reason to do it even more on profiles, forums, and in-game. |
