OK OK OK SO... I recently re-downloaded steam b/c I rebooted my laptop. But when I did it was a bit weird so ofc I un-installed it and attempted to re-install... "Please close Steam and Continue." lolwot. So then I look around and I for some reason find some more steam files, I then find one named "steam.exe". So I looked up what it was and apparently it is a keylogging virus. I'm very, very scared now. And whenever I try to delete it, it prompts me with something that says that it can't be deleted or anything like that b/c Steam Client Bootstrapper was still running. I then went on a hunt for it, didn't find it, so I go onto task manager to kill it from there, there was 4 of them and everytime I deleted one, another comes. It also keeps re-creating the files I deleted, the only ones that are coming back though are "config", "userdata", "appcache" and one weird file that has a bunch of letters and numbers - example "jhgjkrbgjk430293fnw73rb". I try to delete them AND THEY JUST KEEP. COMING. BACK. I would absolutely love some help on how to do this and I stg if someone says delete system32 i wiLL DESTROY YOU- ...but yeah, help would be rlly rlly appreciated. THANKS. #code dankus memus
