With NBC members not earning anything these days, it is infuriating as a former group owner knowing that members cannot purchase their own group's uniform. My suggestion is simple, one default shirt, pant, and t-shirt that all members acquire once joining the group.
To avoid abuse, you can only update the default shirt, pant, and t-shirt, instead of creating new ones. This way, members only have one shirt, pant, and t-shirt defaulted from the group, instead of multiple. In addition, a small fee (maybe 25R?) will be used once changing the group uniform. However, it is free the first time the group uniform is created.

Maybe, we have it so that when/if you leave the group you lose the uniform. Therefore it's only an item if you're in the group. Like a rental.

Yeah that's basically the idea. Also, NBC can only be in 5 groups so that is only 5 free outfits.

Good idea. Or even being in the group for a week to earn it (as if they are "earning" money to buy the uniform like before), another way to prevent people joining simply for an outfit.
