so i have a crush on this one girl that i've been trying to ignore, since you know, crushes are terrible and will end terribly
so a pic was posted of her and her friends and it said "today was lit"
she was like "ew dont use that word"
me being the memelord i am was like "lol but what if it was lit fam"
she responded by saying "it would've been lit if you were there"

she then proceeded to say that me and her were meant to be, and another girl agreed

so i had a huge crush on her a few weeks ago
but it died down and i had this mentality that i didn't like her anymore
but then i added her to our group dm where we post memes
and uh yeah then another person asked if i liked her and i just sounded really awkward coming up with excuses as to why i don't like her

is she trying to be funny like i was? is she dead serious? is she saying that in a friendly way and not in a relationship way?
i don't understand
does anyone here have any tips as to what i should do
i need to have solid ground on if she really does like me too before i try to do anything
because otherwise i still want to be able to feel comfortable around her since i play one of the same sports as she does and we will probably have classes together next year
