I am Piehogger, a citizen of Firestone State. In order to become a valid candidate in my campaign to become a senator, it is required that at least 5 citizens support my cause. I am here to ask for your help and to gain your support by signing that you do so in the comments below.

What is the role of a senator?
It is the job of the senate to propose new bills, which can in turn become laws. These bills are then passed on to higher authority to be either approved or vetoed.
It is important for the senate to represent the values of the citizens, as they are the voice of the people. With people in office who don't truly represent the people, greed and corruption ensues more often than not.

Why should you support me?
Unlike the aforementioned example of a bad senator, I represent the values and well-being of the people. Prior to beginning my campaign, I have been a citizen of both Rockport and Firestone. Having served a short time in Rockport's police force and once being an active Captain of the Norfolk City Fire Department, I have witnessed and understand the hardships and abuse citizens can undertake. As a senator of Firestone, I will write bills to help protect Firestone and her people from police brutality as I have seen in Rockport, and incarceration without fair trial in situations such as false accusations.
It is also a firm belief of mine that the rights of the people should be held before any government people. As senator, I will compose bills to help maintain the liberties and freedom of the common citizen; ensuring that no citizen can be wrongfully discriminated against because of their past or because of who they are as a person, no matter if they're rich or poor.
I support the community and will accept ideas for new bills to be made, and I will see it through that every citizen has equal opportunity to have a part in their government. I will also accept feedback from the citizens about how I'm performing in my job e.g. How I can improve in my career.
