Footnote: If you feel this speech is lengthy, I apologize for you having to read it. My plans and policies are detailed so it is safe to assume they are the reason you may find this speech lengthy. I hope the length does not deviate your attention.

I. Hi, I am nightwing538. You may know me, you may not. But you will. I have been in NUSA for more than a year now, gaining knowledge through various occupations and connections. I'm running for the House because I want change. The same old isn't working. We're seeing more people unemployed and fired, more complaints, and more problems. The change I want, whether I bring it or not, is inevitable. Change is inevitable; progress is not.
II. I have worked in numerous positions and numerous agencies. I started out as an EMT for Las Vegas Emergency Medical Services, but then quickly advanced from EMT to Field EMT and from Field EMT to Head EMT. After being Head EMT for a while, I left LVEMS and decided to branch out. I became Bank of America Security and was appreciated in that agency for my prowess that I was promoted to Bank Staff. I was a Bank Staffer in the Bank of America for a while and was also up & coming in the Homeland Security field. I was accepted into Homeland Security, under the administration of SecretlyJacob and myuo and I was just as appreciated there as I was in other agencies as I went from Probationary Agent to Field Agent to Senior Field Agent. I was Senior Field Agent for a while, the point agents aspire to be. After leaving both BoA and HLS, I was lost for a bit. I was then found by golfgames1 and employed in the White House Staff under SuddenRush12G as a Senior Staffer. I excelled in my position there but then exited. I was lost once again. Until, I became Congressional Chief of Staff. You see, for the past few weeks, I've been CoS. I've watched the Congressmen worked, chatted with them and was basically the closest thing to a Congressman you could be. Simultaneously, I was working in the Office of Public Relations for the Department of Treasury where I engaged with the public and answered basic inquiries although I longed for more. I was relieved of my position and may or may not be taking DoTT to court. As you can see from this paragraph, I have already worked in the legislative branch as well as gained experience and relationships in numerous other agencies to show you how ready I am for the title, `Representative'. I am not only limited to the private sector, being a civil servant, and being in the executive and legislative branch. I am currently up & coming in business as I am President of rising nUSA business, Uber. We once had 60+ members and we are official, but we're currently down to 46+ as we've had a slow week. We're growing as Uber is already allied with the Office of Calvin Romero (SHOUTOUT TO MR. ROMERO), Apollo Airlines, Regions Bank, CBS News, and the Department of Commerce. (So much for Quick Talk, this was a pretty long paragraph basically telling you that I'm qualified for this position. GG.)
III. Plans & Policies (Yes, the good stuff!)
-UNEMPLOYMENT. I was unemployed for a while before I got back in the field and believe me when I say, it was BORING. The only fun thing to do (and the most tempting) was to commit crime at LV. Luckily, I didn’t turn full criminal but no one is without a dark side and I confess to sniping some jerks when I was bored and unemployed at LV, in the game. The solution to this is to make easier and more accessible ways for citizens to become employed. And the simplest way to get a job is applying for it. Thus, more applications would mean more employment. Why applications? They are easily accessible (all you must do is click a forum link) and reliable. Tryouts are not reliable because the host may suddenly have to go or the game might crash or get hacked or the person trying out, their PC may crash/lag and it’s a heavily unreliable method to try to gain workers through a vulnerable game. Same goes with interviews, the server could crash (for everyone or the interviewee or interviewer) and deny jobs. Applications require no server startup, you just click a link, answer questions and send them to who you need to. This will, certainly, bring up jobs because it is an undeniably easier way to get a job. To make sure applications are being published, all departments will be required to issue at least one application per every two weeks. LE can pass on this and negotiate otherwise being that they need the elite to get the job done but every other agency should have to meet this deadline. The punishment would be one warning for the head of the agency and then upon the second warning, they’ll be suspended. (At least 40% of all applicants are required to be submitted unless the agency says otherwise.)
-GUN CONTROL. I'm not a fool. I know you can't get rid of assault rifles at LV. Being honest right here, my gun control is no gun control. It's a VIDEO GAME. It makes it fun, fun is what LV's about, that's why it's so popular-the idea of being in a virtual city is great to many. So, keep all the guns and allow kids to have fun! I understand not every citizen can afford a gun and NO, I’M NOT ENCOURAGING CRIME- CRIME IS WRONG, and those victims are who the law enforcement agencies are supposed to protect. And no, I’m also not saying to trust the law enforcement agencies with your life for those who can’t get a gun, but soon you’ll have the income to get self-defense weapons should my employment plan work.
-RACISM. Yeah, the talk you didn't want to have. Don't lie. Racism is real in NUSA, with African-Americans being harassed, slandered and having racial slurs thrown at them. Many can attest to that. It may be a touchy subject but it should be confronted. And those who take action are brave, and I will be that person. I will present an Anti-Discrimination Act (ADA) that will create a game where victims of racism can submit the racist’s username and provide evidence. The person will be condemned and must be fired from their departments. If the departments refuse to fire/suspend them, they will be taken to court. If they are unemployed, (they shouldn't be if my employment plan works) then they just get reported on ROBLOX and not able to apply for a job for one month. If pauljkl can do this, he can temporarily ban them from LV.
-MORE LV HANGOUTS. I plan to introduce and pitch ideas for more hangouts at Las Vegas. I try not to make any rash decisions but pauljkl will be invited for discussion about his in Congressional Chambers and we’ll see what he can do. This is in order to add more fun to Las Vegas where more players can meet together and hang out and also for more crime to go down and more places for law enforcement to patrol. Some pitched ideas are a lounge, a hub, or a bar. (No food or anything, just a setup and seats to chat in.)
-POLLS. The Poll Act (PA) that I plan to present will have executives be required or asked to create more public polls for nationwide decisions so that Americans can be more involved and have their voice heard in what is going on. These polls should help fuel government decisions.
-VETERAN BENEFITS. Memorial Day just passed and I want NUSA veterans to be thanked for their service. I want them to be awarded $100,000 in LV cash when coming back from the `battlefield' and be VIP. An individual veteran is subject to lose his/her VIP status if they go against ROBLOX rules. This will be presented in the Veteran Treatment Bill (VTB).
-ROGUE RESPONSE. The Rogue Response Act (RRA) will be a bill presented where a system will be put in place to properly punish `rogues' or workers who abuse their power. This system will be split in two- a response for LE workers (those who abused on a LE team) and non-LE workers (those who abused while not LE). The LE Rogue System will work like this: Rogue LE's will immediately be exiled from the LE group they abused in and all other LE groups they are in. (They should be left exiled for 1 month+). They will be immediately suspended from any non-LE agencies they are in for 3 weeks. They will also be FP'd (Federally imprisoned) for 4 weeks. After those 4 weeks, they will have a 1-week hiatus phase where they will not be allowed to apply or try out or interview for any occupations. They shall also be publicly condemned immediately after their abuse. Then, after all of that, they shall be re-admitted into society. The Non-LE Rogue System works like this: Non-LE rogues will be exiled from the non-LE group they abused in (for 1 month+) and then immediately suspended from any LE groups they are in for 4 weeks. They will then be publicly condemned and then FP'd for 3 weeks. After those 3 weeks, there will be a 1-week hiatus phase where they can't be given a job or immediately re-admitted into their workplaces. Then, after all of that, they will be re-admitted into society.
-TRANSPORTATION EXPANSION. The Transportation Expansion Act (TEA) will expand the transportation industry. It will expand private transportation companies like Uber or other taxi services. It will abandon the DoT, and bring more transportation to the LV and DC streets. It is still in the works; that's why it's pretty vague compared to my other plans & policies.
IV. In conclusion, I want to be elected as a Representative. My plans and policies are already a talking point coupled with my experience and qualifications make me a prime, if not THE prime candidate for this position. I want to bring a good change to nUSA. Whether or not I get elected, the change I want is inevitable. It will happen; someone else, in the future may step up to the plate. Change is inevitable; progress is not.
