Nice article, and liked how you mmentioned James Milner. Everyone sleeps on him for some reason. But he was arguably the best player in the second half of the season in the prem with 11 assists. Hes better than drinkwater too! |

I honestly think James Milner is England's best asset. The ability to play around the pitch will greatly help that team.

It's hard to choose just 5 "below-the-radar players" without looking at the top nations. If I had like 10 or 20, I could of had some from every nation. With only 5 though, you go with the players that gets you views.

I hope this isn't a shot at me for choosing 5 players from relatively large nations but if it is, I would severly disagree I don't know what I'm talking about when it comes to soccer.

i think guys like yarmolenko, akinfeev/kokorin/dzyuba, ashley williams, steven davis, emile forsberg and lorik cani would suit being called below the radar players.

I agree with a lot of those, Ninja but I had to only choose 5 and it's tough to do such with 24 countries and still having to get views.
