This Forum goes over all Regulations for regular Honor Guard, as well as the Training Regulations higher ranked Honor Guard must follow for public or private training's. ----------Regulations for USHG---------- 1.The United State Honor Guard's main priority is to protect the high ranking officials on a base. 2.As an Honor Guard you are expected to be the best in discipline and the best in coordination, failure to do these will result in your expulsion from the USHG. 3.As the Honor Guard represents the United States Military you are expected to follow all regulations without failure, any regulations broken will result in a suspension or demotion. 4.The USHG is a Multi Branched Division that falls under command of the Army, this being said you are still required to listen to other higher ranked member's in different branches. 5.If you are seen talking back to a higher ranked officer or enlisted you will be suspended, and the OSS or MP will take up an investigation on the matter. 6.Abandoning your assigned post without permission is considered going AWOL and will result in your suspension from USHG or worse. 7.Disrespect to any solider or officer will not be taken lightly, any disrespect shown will be dealt with accordingly. 8.You are expected to protect the highest ranked officer on the server you are stationed at, unless he dismisses you, failure to do such will result in a 6 day suspension from Honor Guard. 9.If their is a meeting taking place the Honor Guard is expected to be protecting the meeting until it has been concluded, from there they will escort any diplomats off-base if they are requested to leave. 10.You will be assigned a post, once assigned this post you will be there until otherwise told, or until a officer has come. 11.While on duty and are at your post or protecting an officer, you are expected to be silent unless spoken to, or you have requested PTS. 12.Failure to follow any of these or USM regulations will result in a minimum of a six day suspension. ----------Honor Guard's in Training---------- Honor Guard's in Training are basically a brand new recruit. They are required to attend a minimum of 5 training's held by their Unit Commander. They are also required to do 1 in-class training, but also have to have the approval of the Unit Commander. Once they have achieved these requirements they will preform their Graduation Test in-front of the Inspecting officer, he will have the verdict if the class passes or fails. ----------Activity---------- Once you have joined Honor Guard you are requested to be on once a day is possible, if you cannot come one once a day inform the Inspecting Officer or your Unit Commander, and inform them of the days you can get on. You are required to report in at Howze on 3 different days. The week ranges from Monday-Sunday. Failure to report in once will make you receive a strike, once receiving 3 strikes you are expelled from Honor Guard. During the time you check in you will be required to stand post for at least 1 hour, or if you attend a Raid that is also considered checking in. Officers- Officer activity is a little different from the enlisted, as you are a higher rank you have more responsibility. You will check in with me personally at least 3 times a week. During those check ins you will be given your daily or weekly tasks. Please note that if you are an officer and join Honor Guard you will be considered an Enlisted by those above you in Honor Guard. ----------Ranking System---------- The Honor Guard ranking system bases itself off of its own ranks. Example: if you are in Honor Guard and are on the Silent Drill team as a Captain but the Unit commander is a Lieutenant you treat him like he is a higher ranked officer. You are required to be at least the designated ranks to join that specific position. Silent Drill Team Ranks: Sergeant or higher Ceremonial Guard Ranks: Sergeant or higher Presidential Guard Ranks: Master Sergeant or higher -These positions require you to have been an active member of Honor Guard for 2 weeks, or have been appointed by the General of the Army or higher- Unit Commander's Ranks: 2nd Lieutenant or higher Inspecting Officer Ranks: Lieutenant Colonel or higher ----------Unit Non-Commissioned Officers---------- Unit NCO's are basically the 2nd in command for that unit. They are the best of the best for that unit and have proven it to the Unit Commander and the Inspecting Officer. The only way to become a Unit NCO is having the Unit Commander recognize you, and then having it approved by the Inspecting officer through a live demonstration of you commanding your unit. ----------Honor Guard Unit ID Number---------- At any given time a OFFICER may ask for your Unit ID, if such you are required to say this phrase, "This Soilder/Officer's ID number is (YOUR ID NUMBER), My united states military rank is (YOUR USM RANK), and my Unit Commander is (YOUR UNITS COMMANDER). If you refuse to give your ID or fail to say this phrase properly it will result in a possible suspension. Once you join Honor Guard and attend your first training you will be given your unit ID by your Unit Commander, once you transfer you will be given a new Unit ID. If a Enlisted asks for your ID Number regardless of rank you may deny them that information. ----------How to be Promoted in USHG---------- There are two ways to be promoted in USHG, one is through activity and loyalty. The second is that you are disciplined and have proven to be an effective leader. If you show these traits you will receive a promotion in the United States Military. if you wish to be made a Unit NCO you must show both of these qualities and more. ----------Honor Guard's in Training, Training Regulations---------- 1.Marching 2.Formations 3.Drills 4.Graduation Test Practice 5.Which Unit you're interested in 6.What each unit means 7.Importance to the group 8.Ranking's in the USHG 9.How to be promoted 10.Respect towards all ----------Silent Dill Team Training Regulations---------- The Silent Drill team training's must consist of all of the following: 1.What defines a Rank 2.Organization within the ranks 3.Drill Positions 4.Proper Drills 5.Proper Placement 6.Proper Orders 7.Marching ----------Ceremonial Guard Training Regulations---------- The Ceremonial Guard training's must consist of all of the Following: 1.Job Description 2.Proper Placement during ceremony 3.21 Gun Salute 4.Officer Retirements 5.Funeral RP 6.Marching ----------Presidential Guard Training Regulations---------- The Presidential Guard training's must consist of all of the following: 1.Expectations 2.Current CIC 3.Who your protecting 4.Diplomatic meetings 5.Protection of the JCS and higher 6.Priority of the CIC 7.Possible Ceremony's 8.Marching
