How should I determine whether games are 4v4 or not? 3v3 has been used in ISL in almost every game for nearly 12 seasons, but this season I have switched to more 4v4 games. How should I determine whether games are 4v4 or not? Both owners have to agree to 4v4? 4v4 if both teams have 5+ ready players?

3v3.. The ISL pitch is way to small and now adays people are just starting to super clear it up.
3v3 allows us to see who are the real playmakers and is also a lot less laggy.

It seems to be the consensus this year that yes, 4v4 isn't as good as 3v3
I've been doing it so people can get more playing time, but it appears that most haven't liked this besides the players who are getting more time as a result. |

Playing in 4v4 is very boring. It's a battle in mid of back and forth medium. Some team gets a lag advantage and then the ball goes super high for no reason. |

Honestly, 4v4 uses a lot more strategy and 3v3 is just kick the ball to the FWD and score. I'm a fan of 4v4. |

3v3 is definitely much relaxing though, I always feel its too crowded with 4v4 and that the other players r lag kicking the ball when we kick it before them. |

Really @ Jugo? That's an interesting perspective, because personally I've always believed 3v3 has more strategy. 3v3 has more open space and requires more skill to win. Perhaps 4v4 has more passing which leads to more strategy? But personally I've always felt 3v3 is the better product. |

In 4v4, I kick the ball to the wall and it magically goes behind me? ISL has done a great job so far and we need to stick to the roots.

How does 4v4 have more passing? All I see teams doing is spamming medium and getting and getting lucky.

Those bench players are on the bench for a reason, if they really wanted to get better, then they should try to. Plus they get time if the team is getting blown out by a lot or if the team is blowing out the other team a lot. If its tied and very close, kinda hard 2 bring in ur bench due to less skills compared to the starters. |

It's just that 4v4s aren't fun for some teams because they aren't as laggy as others such as Portland, we don't really lag kick but most times, others do. Less the players, less the lag kicks. Also, its better off having owners pick 4v4 or not IN GAME because if 4v4 is auto picked when 1 team doesn't want it, kinda unfair, especially if they face a team with laggy players. |

What I saw from STL was a lot of rainbow flicks going super high, you guys always managing to get to the wall first, and always getting first hit on balls.
4v4 is 2 crowded and laggy. Not to mention it's a small pitch |

if the ISL's success continues like it has (with every team having 5+ every game) you just need to add another team or two next season
