Quite frankly I haven't been on when FMA trainings go on, yet I can easily assure and prove if needed that I am capable of being an Officer in FEAR. IMO, one of the greatest things FEAR lacks ATM is HiCom members and officers that know how to lead raids, train, and defend properly. Many majors, including myself most definitely behold these capabilities without FMA. If there was an application process, with set dates for tests, many majors who would make great officers would be able to breeze through the trials, creating a large, active, and dependable officer core. I feel like some members who has recently left may be inclined to return if this was implemented. Lots of spelling errors, on my phone RN - sorry in advance!

I agree. Most of the time I'm not on to attend one.

I want to agree, but I can't. I think the FMA trainings are activity tests.

iRobot, I see your point. I cannot be as active as many officers, but Quality > Quantity, ESPECIALLY when the amount of officers who would be able to get in would counteract activity.

FMA really isn't needed to prove your skill set, but the benefit of it is that it is an impartial system (in theory). FMA should remain as a requirement so that Majors feel like they are treated equally. I feel like application processes can be biased or flawed.

@Obs Many majors who have passed FMA in the past have been easily deemed incompetent, as they are young and active, activity and persistency being the only reasons they made it so far. As seen with top groups, having an older member base for the officer core and HCom means that FEAR can become better without having AA trainings, horrible defense leaders, and overly mature Officers. I also believe that if the entirety of the HCOM or most of it votes on the application, or sonic approves it, it isn't biased in a bad way as if they aren't to theHCOM or Sonic's standards they obviously won't fit in as an officer in the group.
