Hey roblox should implement a feature where I can lock my item making it so someone can't send me trade offers for any item that I lock. This would be useful because I keep getting trade offers for my rainbow shaggy but don't want to trade it and it is getting annoying. If I could just lock the item then no one could send me a trade for it. |

You realize how easy it is to write a quick JavaScript Chrome extension to automatically decline any trade with a specific item in it? |

Is it not the same outcome? You can't force another person to NOT send you a trade. The best you can do is decline that trade automatically with a bot or Chrome extension. |

if i lock an item then they wouldn't even be able to choose that item in a trade offer through the trade window...
i dont want any trades to come in for this item! its risky and annoynig |

Actually, it is the same outcome, If you simply put the extension on what hat to automatically decline if an offer appears, the extension will activate it self, this is so meaninglessly easy that Roblox doesn't even have to get involved, in fact why don't you ask WebGl3d to do something about it.

just because its possible to do with a chrome extension doesent mean roblox shouldnt add this
not everyone knows javascript either (it doesent matter how easy or simple it is to make this you would still need to know some javascript)

@jumpy u understand not everyone wants to go get another chrome extension and what about for users who dont use chrome no need just incorporate this simple feature if its as easy as you guys are saying... |

SO you're saying you don't want to decline trade offers for the said hat but you don't want trades to come in for the hat? What in the world, that made no sense, And how are we lazy it is not our fault that half of this forum is full of children who like to whine about senseless stuff(In my opinion) and if players don't want to get a simply extension that does the said action than that is there own fault, just don't expect admins to imply this idea, because they almost NEVER go on it.

while it does have the same outcome it's not what op is asking for therefore the whole bs about chrome extensions is invalid

Guys, he has other items he wants to trade. It would be easier to lock items to you don't want to. When I made this new main when I was terminated I decided not to buy any limiteds I don't want so Idk if they have updated it. |

do people not realize that some people do not want extensions
do the people suggesting these things not realize op does not care for the outcome and just wants to prevent things from trading availability instead of declining trades

So basically he can't just decline the offer himself? He has to rely on roblox to implement a Manual update like this? Maybe not everyone knows or has access to Java but I can say for sure that this update seems sort of useless and if he can do the said action himself why does roblox need to add an option like this?

roblox may not serve you everything on a silver platter, but neither do the creators of roblox extensions.
plus, the extension creators are often super sketchy |

Fair point but like you said, If this update can be one in less than 1 second than roblox does not have to bend over heels for an update like this.
