In the Flesh? is by far the best song on the album.

I'm not a huge fan of Pink Floyd, so my opinion is less ecstatic. I never really found them as influential to me. Sure, I like some songs and elements, but I wouldn't go as far as to claim them as a personal influence, nor pose as a fan. Just trying to keep it real.

Sorry man, but Floyd doesn't define taste.

I'm sorry, I didn't know that enjoying the most critically acclaimed films and television shows were awful. It's not my fault you do not recognize true talent.

>"your tastes in film, and television are awful." The evidence speaks for itself. I have an eclectic music taste. I bounce around a lot. Just because I am not a huge Floyd fan doesn't mean my music taste is trash. If anything, it proves I don't follow others opinion. Sure, Floyd made some powerful statements in their song "Another Brick in the Wall", but it was nothing more than what the Ramones stated in their single "Blitzkreig Bop". The only difference is the Ramones accomplished their statement in two and a half minutes while Pink Floyd took six. Less we forget societal views on standards in general where a major fixing point during the 70's. Almost every band at the time tackled that in at least one song. As far as my music taste goes, I mainly float around these bands. Criticize them if you will, but each one has accomplished something in their own right. Metallica Slayer Iron Maiden Judas Priest Misfits The Germs Descendents Black Flag Offspring Rise Against Sum 41 Jimmy Eat World A Day to Remember Slipknot Disturbed Linkin Park Alice Cooper Rob Zombie Three Days Grace Breaking Benjamin Chevelle The Amity Affliction Bring Me the Horizon KoRn Of Mice & Men X Ambassadors Smashing Pumpkins Asking Alexandria We Came as Romans Motionless in White Rolling Stones Jimi Hendrix Eric Clapton Lynyrd Skynyrd (better than Neil Young for sure)

Not a huge Tool fan. They're alright, I guess. Linkin Park is give or take. Their previous album was trash, but there were a few okay tracks.

I know why people like Tool, it's just that I don't like some of their song topics. Do I think they should've been censored? No, but I understand why they were. I started to lose faith in them after they started being controversial just for the sake of being controversial. I listen to them from time to time, but I never really count myself as a fan for that reason. When it comes to Linkin Park, I don't really cite their newer stuff as that great. Sure, they had some good songs like "Lost in the Echo", "In My Remains", "Final Masquerade", "Until it's Gone", and so on. It's just their newer albums weren't the kind you could listen to the whole thing without skipping some songs. Especially their newest album "The Hunting Party". Most of those songs felt out of place and repetitive.

i don't listen to linkin park anymore, but i really liked the hunting party. when 'guilty all the same' first came out, i found it to be a refreshing change of pace after the electronic experimental nightmare that was a thousand suns and living things -- even though the guest vocal appearance of rakim seemed pretty pointless. i would even go as far as to say that 'mark the graves' and 'keys to the kingdom' are some of the best songs linkin park has written.

"Guilty All the Same" was very repetitive to me.

most linkin park songs in general are pretty repetitive one thing i will say about the hunting party that kinda bugs me though, is that the choruses of 'guilty all the same', 'wastelands', and 'line in the sand' sound literally identical in every way.

That's why I disliked the album. Though, "Wastelands" is better live than on track.
