They prohibit FREE SPEECH. If you are not American and/or do not know this, freedom of speech is required in the US Constitution. If ROBLOX violates this, we have the right to sue them if we wish. Communist countries prevent their citizens free speech, and we are being prevented to express ourselves. Sheltering children isn't a good idea either, as 9 out of 10 children learn a curse word by three years old. What do you guys think? wannabe British, proud American

@TommyBigShot My point does make sense, American boy! The point is, your thread sounds definitely like a racism/discrimination against people who doesn't speak english that is in your context of the thread. No offense, but racism & discrimination can be illegal.

I wasn't trying to be racially discrimination, but they seriously are becoming communist. I do not hate the people who can't speak English properly. Actually, I think they are quite interesting to be honest. If you think I am racially discriminating people, I'm actually not. You might have read my post wrong. wannabe British, proud American

Nice. Here's how they learn curse words: 1. Their parents say it over the phone 'The traffic on the 405 was ******* bad.' 2. They hear it on TV (I can't think of an example) 3. Someone screams it out '**** HUMANS!' There's probably many more, I just can't think of it. wannabe British, proud American

L private businesses may choose to deny freedom of speech on their platforms -- but not just limited to that, they could ban you permanently for saying or doing anything/nothing, even if deemed acceptable, due to reserving the right to terminate accounts for any reason. its in their tos, just read it. and so if government and or public establishment like a school - which receives public funding - chooses to get you in trouble and cause damages for saying any random word, even if not deemed offensive, then you may have a genuine grievance - but even then, it can get annoying when people are constantly blaming the government for everything, or think that they are out to restrict rights, when that really isn't the case and to be honest is quite delusional. if you think children are learning bad words on roblox then they probably lied about their age when registering their account, that or users are bypassing filters which is a banable offense and is actively being taken care of.

@TommyBigShot i agree with you! At one point i was actaly thinking that! Even though swearing is abusing freedom of speach (I think) saying other words arent abusing freedom of speach! When you are regestered as under 13 you cant even say training or other peoples usernames.

I want the old roblox back where we could say whatever if we were 13 or older. I do agree that they took away freedom of speech, but they dont care about it, as long as they are making money, they are happy.

you have no legal right to use this website, they may ban you for any reason, good, bad or even no reason at all. you have no right to use this service. you are not legally entitled to use this website. roblox can ban you for any reason. the constitution does not say that moderators on websites cannot ban you for saying whatever you want due to the first amendment. if you attempted to sue roblox like you stated, a judge would throw your case out and roblox could have the right to actually counter sue you for malicious prosecution or abuse of process -- this is assuming an attorney would even take your cause LMFAO! roblox clearly reserves the right to prohibit the use of its website to any user at any time. why don't citizens have the same free speech rights in shopping centers (or in other privately owned spaces) that they do on city streets and parks? because malls are private property, and our constitutional rights are triggered only when the government (and not a private citizen) tries to limit our freedoms. as malls expand to include outdoor boulevards, movie theaters, and coffee houses, many contend that we should have free expression rights in these "private forums." their argument is that malls play the same role city streets and town squares once played in our democracy. the first cases asserting free speech rights in privately owned shopping centers were successful. in the 1946 case of Marsh v. Alabama, the Supreme Court held that the business district of a privately owned "company town" was the same as a public street for First Amendment purposes, finding that "the more an owner, for his advantage, opens up his property for use by the public in general, the more do his rights become circumscribed by the statutory and constitutional rights of those who use it." A 1968 case— Amalgamated Food Employees Union v. Logan Valley Plaza—held that a privately owned mall was the "functional equivalent" of the business district in Marsh. but realizing they had overreached in the early cases, and sensitive to what they had done to private property rights, the Supremes reversed course in Hudgens v. NLRB,a 1976 case holding that the First Amendment guarantees no free speech rights in private shopping centers (or private spaces again, like this website which you have no legal right to use). and in an important 1980 case, Pruneyard v. Robins, the court upheld the general notion that citizens have no First Amendment rights to express themselves in privately owned shopping centers (also applies to websites which you have no legal entitlement to use and type profanities on) while still agreeing that a group of California students had the right to hand out leaflets and collect signatures in a private California mall. source: dahlia lithwick (slate) for the record, i do not oppose any rights whatsoever, i am just educating you on the law since you said that you could sue roblox for this. roblox is a privilege, not a right. has this answered your question?

The censoring in roblox is screwed up too. Typing perfectly acceptable words such as winnable sometimes get censored. Rip Roblox
