Hello, citizens of Las Vegas! Due to the public thinking we are "inactive" and "bad" from some - we have decided to engage in hosting bi-weekly public press briefings! In these briefings, we will go over: - Recent events that have happened in Las Vegas regarding the safety of citizens - Recent events in the Las Vegas Police Department - Recent events with the Las Vegas Community itself - We will take *QUESTIONS* from the public (people that are there) Attendees will be: - Police Temp Chief (and chief if he wants/decides to come) - A city council representative (at least one member, the mayor or deputy mayor, or more) - A member of the police department - A member of the emergency medical services department - (IF IT IS RELEASED SOONER OR LATER) a member from the fire department ------------------------------------- These events will be hosted on the first Saturday of the month at 1 PM EST, and the second Sunday of the month at 4:30 PM EST! @qolio We have not had a rogue for a while and we have extended our background check system to the fullest. And my opinion on rogues is that yes they should be prevented, "but you simply cannot tell who is going to go rogue unless they exhibit targeting behavior." (-kindve 2k16) I have said this before, time and time again. Also, this is a game - some people might not recognize this as a deep roleplaying community as the more senior members of NUSA do. If they go rogue, they see it as "using their tools". This is why we have FJs and SCJs to do their job of declaring them rogue and the directors to cooperate with their staff to deal with the abuser promptly. I thank you for your advice. @qolio If your mentioning OrientedCoder, I did not know who he was at first as our background checks were not as extensive as they are now. After observing the dedicated Detective, I have reassured myself to keep Oriented under constant observation and watch to assure no criminal activities happen. Nevertheless, Oriented is a dedicated member of the Las Vegas Police Department who has assured me with his actions, not words, that he is a proud member of the department and does his job satisfactorily.
