29th CONGRESS 1st Session S.RES.8 Proposing a resolution in the Senate to expedite and ready the senate forum voting procedures and to allow all a way to vote in a timely manner. IN THE SENATE OF THE UNITED STATES June 23rd, 2016 Senator devGralius introduced the following resolution. RESOLUTION Article 1 Section 1 - Any bill or resolution that is put on a forum for voting that is not voted on at a session, shall remain open for 48 hours after being posted. Section 2 - If the bill shall meet the required amount of votes to pass, with either a simple majority or a two-thirds majority, whichever the bill needs for its passage, the bill shall then surpass the 48-hour hold and go into effect. Section 3 - After the 48-hours on the forum, the passage of the bill shall depend on those who already voted, unless 2/3rds of the Senate is REQUIRED, for example the appointment of a Vice President. * Section 4 - With the passage of this resolution, SR.4(Senate Resolution 4, https://forum.roblox.com/Forum/ShowPost.aspx?PostID=191015800) shall be nullified and discarded. Signed by, Senator, devGralius [D-LA] Revised by, Senator, TimGeithner [D-MA] * Basically, if 12 senators votes, and you need a simple majority, then you need 7 ayes, if you need ⅔’s then you need 8 ayes. It would depend on how many senators voted.

Simple majority = the majority of a legal quorum. Absolute majority = the majority of all Senators. Qualified or super majority = 2/3rds of all Senators. This is flawed.
