These are all things that I have written myself in real life. Comments would be appreciated, and rude ones will be ignored because they don't affect me, nor do negative words. If you wish to use this, please PM me and give credit. Inspired by J.R.R Tolkien. More will be added soon. Fictional Account of Elves in Verses Lo! hark, for come out of the woods the sounds of elven-harps! There in Lorien the fair lay the Elder Kindred, Whom no man nor dwarf once knew or heard of. Arose, and loud it cried; the Northern wind that bore Them over the sea from the Havens to Midgard Then came they far to the woods of the East, Where none but nature dwelt so fair. Lorien they named it, with trees so kingly and high, And from the elven-ship came also Ruth the Wise. The grass was green, the leaves were long, And there in Lorien they sang many a song, Of tales of old and sagas beyond, And things of beauty and wonder they made. Then came he the Evil and Dark Lord, Which elf, dwarf, man nor living thing could bear. Plunder and deeds of malice he did, And cursed six mortal Men to die, Nine dwarf-lords to perish in their halls of stone, And three elven-kings to be slain under the Sky. Yet when dawn came dim Lorien was lost and A shining star by day! And so iron was found, tree was hewn, Swift they were; for they sought the Havens afar. Then Man and Dwarf saw them majestic and fair, Go riding like a swan over the Sea. O Ruth the High and Wise, I call to thee! O proud lord of Lorien! O you come not from the Havens!
