In the far north there is a land ruled by Frostheath Azure called The Azure Caverns. The Azure Caverns were constantly under attack by frost giants so Frostheath hired a group of mercenaries know as Midnight Valor to take care of them. After the frost giant epidemic was taken care of the leader of Midnight Valor, Shank Valore was given anything he wanted money, power, fame, but he soon became greedy and it wasn't enough anymore he demanded to be made king Frostheath laughed and sent him and his men out of The Azure Caverns. Shank was furious he saved The Azure Caverns he had every right to rule it so he made a deal with a witch to have all the palace guards put to sleep Shank and his men entered the palace slaughtering all the sleeping guards he went to the throne room Frostheath begged for his life and offered Shank the throne, but that was'nt enough for him Shank impaled Frostheath on his great sword and said "looks like you been shanked". The witch came the palace to collect her payment when Shank asked her how much she wanted she said she wanted to be his queen he refused and she put a curse on Shank and his men that wouldn't allow them to live in the Azure Caverns. Shank and the Midnight Valor journey south in search of fame and fortune.
