question about GPA

If I do badly in an online summer class will my gpa lower Asking this because I forgot to take two quizzes and it was due 15 minutes ago and my teacher never lets me retake anything so now my grade is a 68 I made sure to get maximum amount of points possible during the school year and now I am worried that my summer class will make my gpa lower

my 2 guidance counselors confirmed with me before I took the class that she would put it on my GPA however they had to argue for a bit before agreeing to put it into my GPA. This argument made me think that they get to control whether or not my online summer classes are put into my GPA because they also decided between themselves that if I took an ACT prep course they would not put it into my GPA. so im thinking if this hurts my gpa beg them to remove it since they have that power my weighted gpa is a 4.6 (i think it may probably rose since it hasnt updated on powerschool and i finished 3 ap classes last year) my unweighted gpa is a 3.9
