I'll say this again-stop using the attack helicopter copypasta. It's not a valid argument, as inanimate objects are not genders.
It was originally used against 'otherkin' people and all that. Those groups have nothing to do with LGBTQ+, but are always associated with it. I can't speak for thelegitimacy of them, but stop associating them with LGBTQ+.
You go ahead, follow your dreams, go full time, receive experimental surgery to make yourself an attack helicopter. Go ahead. Serve as a valiant Apache helicopterserving in the US Military.

If you believe that the current gender option makes ROBLOX biased against LGBT then adding more to it would make ROBLOX biased for LGBT. ROBLOX should just remove the gender option and then no one would have to complain. Like others said the option only affects how your avatar looks upon joining (and maybe some business statistics that we don't see). |

Ok, I was wrong about the attack helicopter thing, it was designed by a transphobic team fortress 2 player, but that doesn't mean its use against gender topics is correct. |

OK, then it doesn't have anything to do with bias. You did say that the gender option is pointless so it's better just to stop continuing this thread or suggest that the gender option is removed. It seems like a much better solution for ROBLOX not to involve gender at all rather than to add more. Some would probably be unsatisfied with an "Other" gender anyway because it doesn't specifically include these so-called genders besides male and female. |

how come this is only being discussed now? Before 2015 there was no such thing as LGBT or anything like that. Something like that in 2010 would be seen as a joke. |

Honestly, If a person identifies as neither male nor female, it isn't hurting anyone. However, saying things like "There are only two genders" or "People who think they're neither female nor male are stupid" is hurting people. If you're aware that you're psychologically damaging others by saying things like that, and you still continue to do so, then there's something seriously wrong with you. Yes, gender dysphoria is medically recognized as a disorder, but there is currently no effective, non damaging treatment aside from hormone therapy, changing gender expression, or surgery.
Even if someones gender identity makes you uncomfortable, like I said before, it isn't hurting anyone. So you should be able to deal with less than one percent of the population not being male or female, or being both.
Also, one more thing, no one should be attacked for sharing their thoughts on an issue, whether what they are saying is discriminatory or not. We can't solve hate with more hate.
Oh, and I don't really think that we need an "Other" gender button, I don't think we really need a gender button in the first place. All it determines is your starter pack, and that's not hard to alter. I don't see why it would be a problem to start out without having anything on your avatar, as it's easy to just go to the catalog and get all of the things that would have been in a starter pack.
Also, if you're worried about what some of the younger kids would think if they didn't see a gender button, it probably wouldn't even affect them that much. I doubt that any of them would actually think about it until they start the game and see that their avatar doesn't look the way they expected it to. Which, like I said before, would be easy to fix. |

What? Most commonly used labels were made in the 60s-2010s (long time period, I know), notable lgbt rights movements and stuff happened in the 50s-well... now, and people of other identities and orientations have been found to have existed throughout history. |

What does when I joined have to do with anything? I was about 9 when I joined, and I didn't even go on the forum, I only played games. I stopped going on ROBLOX in 2012, and started again briefly in 2013, again in 2015, and I played infrequently until recently. Sorry for the life story. |
