This literally never happens. I've never seen it happen once on any forum I've visited. And even if it did, you'd be able to see if the thread was edited.

I just need to state one thing. The capability to remove our own posts would be pleasant! But, I agree with what @dustyshirt is saying.
Support for deleting not editing!
